That pesky Davin Doncaster just won’t stay dead. Finch Merlin is in servitude to Erebus, a Child of Chaos and the epitome of Darkness. He must serve as Erebus’s errand boy until Erebus decides he has done enough. Problem is, Erebus keeps changing the goal posts. This time, Finch is transported to an enchanted part of Greece, where he and other magicals must perform four tasks in order to learn the ancient art of map-making. Finch must successfully complete all four tasks in order to be able to create a map to a hidden land. Only problem is, Erebus won’t tell him what he is looking for. Finch strives to complete the tasks, win his freedom, and track down the evil Doncaster. Revealing more might cause a few spoilers. This is a great read and frankly much more entertaining than the earlier Harley Merlin stories.

Finch Merlin and the Lost Map audiobook in series Harley Merlin Series
This book was AMAZING! The book before this one was pretty slow for me but I guess it made sense since it had to set up a whole new story line for the Finch Merlin series. But this book man it had me on the edge of my seat the whole time! Absolutely full of adventure and action. Read this book in the span of 2 days. I could not put it down. Love all the new characters! Love everything that is happening. Really DO NOT like Davin! Just saying. Keep them coming.

Finch Merlin and the Lost Map audiobook by Bella Forrest
I was beginning to feel as if the Finch series were not as interesting, but this book recaptured my interest. Likable characters, interesting problems to be solved and a problem whose resolution felt balanced and as if it helped those effected.
Thoroughly enjoyed this entire book.

Finch Merlin and the Lost Map audio narrated by Amanda Ronconi
As this is the 12th in the series of Harley Merlin, then you should already know if you like the novels. I enjoyed the trials in the map-making monastery and the introduction of new characters. This story hasn’t ended and I greatly look forward to the next book. Of all of the books centred on Finch, I appreciated this one the most, so far.

This book is the last in a series that my 14 year old gobbled up. I couldnt get the issues fast enough to her. If you or your teen aged children or grandchildren enjoy the fantasy or dystopian genre, this is a fabulous close to this series!
