I have enjoyed this story with Finch as the main character, as he was becoming more prominent in the later books. He has had a very troubled background and his enforced bargain with Erebus entangles him and his development as a person. I want to continue following his arc.
Like all of the books so far in the series, there is a lot of danger, nasty twists and further complications.

Finch Merlin and the Fount of Youth audiobook in series Harley Merlin Series

Just when you think you’ve read it all…. I had a sneaking feeling that things couldn’t get any worse for one of the heroes leading up to the second part of the Harley Merlin series, but it did. Finch, Harley’s half-brother, has been trying hard to redeem himself from being caught up in the nightmare his mother created. He chose to sacrifice himself by accepting the bargain he had to make to save his sister, all those he’d come to care about, and the world from Katherine’s evil plans. Unfortunately, when making a bargain with devil, in this case a dark Child of Chios, Erebus, things started to backfire quickly. Finch was forced into situation after situation searching for things that Erebus wanted, and the why of it hasn’t been clear. History has shown that there is some truth in the origin of legends if one follows the ancient bread crumb trails they’ve left behind – in this case, the Fount of Youth. The big Q is, what would an immortal like Erebus want with it? To know that is to get intrigued by the next interesting yet tangled puzzle that Erebus commands Finch to solve.

Finch Merlin and the Fount of Youth audiobook by Bella Forrest

Don’t get me wrong, I really liked the Harley Merlin STORY…..but 4 books filled with whiners was a bit much…yes I did read them all. I’m kinda like that. This one was wonderful. Finch “grew” spoil much as a hero and likeable guy. Garrett is still whining, but he’s got some big issues going on right now. But Taty’s little sister rocks……the boat and everything else too.

Finch Merlin and the Fount of Youth audio narrated by Amanda Ronconi

How does she do it?! I love Finch more than I do Harley!! Great next arc for the series and I can’t wait to see where she takes us next! That shady Erebus, what is he up to?! And Bella sure inspires extreme emotion…..I loathe Doncaster with a passion!! Great job Bella, I really liked it!
