This is book 2 in the Southside series and I would recommend reading book 1 too. Although you don’t have to, each book is written as a standalone but you have to read Lucio’s story and you will fall for him too.
This is Daphne and Leo’s story and it is hot, sexy and forbidden. But that makes it all the better because Daphne is a Gallo and Leo is a Conti and that means their fathers are enemies. So does that mean that Daphne and Leo should be too.
While at her brother’s wedding, Daphne begins to fall and Leo catches her. And she is lost when she looks into his eyes. And the sparks fly until Daphne learns who he is. She tries to stay away but her body betrays her mind.
Leo has nothing to do with his fathers business and he wants to see where things go with Daphne. Can he make her see that they are made for each other? Will Daphne give in and be able to keep them a secret? And what will happen when their secret gets out?
If you haven’t read anything by Chelle Bliss, then you need to read this series or even this book. It is a perfect love story that will keep you on the edge of you seat until the end. I loved everything about it and all I can say is, Get It, Read It, Love It. I hope the next book is about Angelo, he is yummy.

In Flow Chelle Bliss introduces another member of the Chicago Southside Gallos, however this time it is a woman – Daphne Gallo. Like Izzy from the Men Of Inked Series, Daphne is a strong, stubborn woman who won’t let anyone walk over her. When Daphne literally bumps into Leo Conti, a man who is the arch enemy of her family, her world is turned on its axis.
This is a true “Romeo & Juliet” story – two sworn enemies who can’t help falling for each other. Their chemistry is way way off the charts and leads to some really hot scenes that will definitely cause your glasses to fog up. Leo is completely taken by Daphne and is determined nothing will stand in their way. As with all of Chelle’s couples, nothing comes easy for Daphne and Leo with numerous twists and turns thrown in to make life just that little bit harder.
Once again Chelle has shone. The Gallos have a special place in my heart, I love reading about these wonderful families, all the secondary characters simply enhance this story. I can’t wait to see what Chelle comes up with next.
An absolute must read.

Audiobook Flow (Men of Inked: Southside #2) by Chelle Bliss
I was hooked into this series with Maneuver, but this book just blew me away!!! Nothing against Lucio and Delilah’s story, but Daphne and Leo’s story was just so much more!!! These 2 had chemistry that jumped off the page it was so intense!!
Daphne is a strong, independent woman who happens to have 3 brothers and a father who is a mob boss. So, needless to say, her life is a little complicated. She meets Leo at her brother, Lucio’s, wedding reception because it’s in his hotel.
Now their families used to live in the same neighborhood until a dispute made the fathers enemies. In the mob scene that can be deadly!! So, Leo’s family moved to the North side while Daphne’s family stayed on the South side. None of the children are involved in the mob, but the dispute makes it almost impossible for Leo and Daphne to be together.
Leo remembers Daphne from his childhood, but is totally enamored with the woman she’s become. Like I said, their chemistry jumps off the pages and they can’t deny it. So they try to be together behind everyone’s backs.
I don’t want to give anything away, but things happen that bring get the families involved in their relationship. I love how well Chelle handles it all!!! This book is amazing!!! I loved it so much I literally finished it in hours!!! I highly recommend this book to everyone, you won’t be disappointed!!

Audio Flow (Men of Inked: Southside #2) narrated by Kai Kennicott Wen Ross
Daphne Gallo has enough going on in her life with her Father getting out of prison and finding his place in the family again and the bar to run, she doesn’t mean to bump into Leo Conti. Leo is from the Conti family and is a sworn enemy to her family, but from the instant she meets him she wants him. Leo feels the same but they can’t be together without causing problems for the family, or can they?
Leo is a man who gets what he wants and he wants Daphne. He knows what they are doing is dangerous but he also knows if he lets her go it will be like losing a piece of himself. Two families suffering the fate brought on by their fathers, can Leo find a way to make Daphne his?
This was good, I was curious where the story with Daphne’s father would go and his is an interesting tale. I thought this was a great story, chemistry between Daphne and Leo is sizzling from the very beginning. Entertaining read, well worth picking up this series.

I liked this book, read it in one day but it wasn’t as good as some of the author’s earlier books, particularly the books in the original Men of Inked series, which I love. This book focuses on the cousins of the Gallo family who live in Chicago and are mobbed up. This book is kind of a Romeo and Juliet, star-crossed lovers book. Daphne, a member of the Gallo family falls in love with Leo, the son of a rival gangster from the Conti family.
A lot of time is spent developing the background story of the Gallo family and their links to the Florida Gallo’s. This was great but I wish there was more focus on the couple and their growing love affair. The sex scenes were hot but they fell into insta-love and I wasn’t quite feeling that. I didn’t quite connect to this couple emotionally bc I think we didn’t get to really spend enough time with them to tell what made them tick; this was especially true of Leo. I guess I would have liked to have more character development.
I will continue on to the next book in the series but I hope there is more character development with the hero, Angelo, Daphne’s big brother.
