For Love or Money

Well this book gave me serious holiday envy – I so wanted to be in Nice on French Riviera. I’ve been there before and this book brought back many happy holiday memories. Part of the book is also set in a house overlooking Killiney Bay in Dublin – that whole area is sometimes referred to as the Irish ‘Bay of Naples’ – it is certainly a wonderful place to look out on, on a good day.
Quite apart from the scenery – there is also a good story in this book. It is funny when it wants to be but also tackles a very serious issue (no spoilers so I won’t say what it is) – and does it with great sensitivity. It makes some fun of social media along the way too.
I enjoyed the characters – Lesley & Stella in particular – and their interactions.
I’ve read previous books by this author – though she’s been quiet for a while – and have always enjoyed them. It’s good to have her back.

Great book! I got swept away by fun characters, a bit of a mystery, and lots to laugh and sigh about! It’s one of those rare books that you have to go back and check several times because surely there must be more! Not because the ending wasn’t great, but because I am selfish and I wanted more! I love Clodagh’s books because they are a perfect balance of emotions and wit! Don’t miss this fantastic addition to her line-up!

This book kept me smiling throughout! A very interesting twist on a romance story. Unique and refreshing to say the least. Leaves you with warm fuzzy feelings and wishing you could find an Al of your own!!

You WANT to read this fun little romance!!

The whole book is leading up to a huge surprise that was obvious within the first few chapters. Write was okay.

I really love this book. Its a great story that pulls you in and Mtis you reading until the end.
