Wow, “Hidden Order” by Brad Thor is truly a thriller that defies all expectations and happens to be one of the most timely books I’ve ever read. Brad Thor masterfully crafts a gripping story while shedding light on the perilous state the country faces due to the Federal Reserve’s questionable practices.

The Federal Reserve, despite its name, operates more like a secretive club than a transparent regulatory agency. Brad Thor delves into the Fed’s mysterious origins and its lack of accountability. He fearlessly exposes the consequences of its actions, particularly in the aftermath of the easy money era under Greenspan, the bailouts orchestrated by Bernanke and Turbo-Tax Timmy, and the questionable handling of TARP funds by Hank Paulson.

This novel skillfully weaves together multiple storylines and a plethora of characters, keeping readers on their toes as they follow the twists and turns. The interaction between Harvath and another character adds a layer of intrigue with potential ramifications for future installments in the series.

Brad Thor’s ability to entertain and educate simultaneously is truly impressive. Through the engaging narrative, readers gain insight into the hidden truths about the Federal Reserve, knowledge that is seldom taught in today’s educational systems.

The action in the book is relentless, with the conflict between the alpha male and female characters, Harvath and Cordero, adding to the tension. Despite the unsettling violence of the killers, the compelling storytelling keeps readers glued to the pages, almost like voyeurs craning their necks to witness the next gripping event.

“Hidden Order” is not only an entertaining read but also an eye-opener. Brad Thor’s appearances on various shows have contributed to raising awareness about the Fed’s impact on our nation’s debt and future generations. The novel serves as an education for readers, shedding light on facts that most people might not be aware of.

Overall, “Hidden Order” is a wonderful and informative read. Brad Thor has done an excellent job of blending entertainment with thought-provoking insights. For those who want a gripping thriller that also enlightens them about important issues, this book is an excellent choice. Kudos to Brad Thor for a job well done. However, as he continues to bring awareness to the masses, he should be vigilant as he may have garnered some unwanted attention from the Fed.

Hidden Order audiobook

I have thoroughly enjoyed each book in this series, and “this one was no exception. It was action-packed and offered a captivating story enriched with American history, which is a subject I truly appreciate. However, I did encounter a slight issue near the end when the author skillfully tied all the twists together. Unfortunately, at that point, I found myself losing track of who had done what, causing me to miss some crucial details.

In my opinion, the reason for this confusion lies in the sheer number of characters introduced throughout the book. There were just too many to keep track of, and it became challenging to recall each one’s role and significance. I briefly considered going back to figure out what I had missed, but I feared that doing so might spoil the overall reading experience. So, I chose to let it go and enjoy the gripping and action-packed ending instead.

While the book still delivered a satisfying conclusion with plenty of edge-of-your-seat moments, I couldn’t help but think that it had the potential to be even better. If I hadn’t struggled with the abundance of characters and their roles, I might have considered it the best book in the series so far. Nevertheless, I couldn’t shake off a slight sense of disappointment due to this particular issue.

I must admit that this is the first time since starting this series that I’ve encountered such a challenge, and I believe it might have been partly due to personal distractions during my reading. Regardless, I am eagerly looking forward to the next book. I am confident that, with undivided attention, the next installment will offer another thrilling adventure, and I am excited to see what the author has in store for us next.

Audiobook Hidden Order by Brad Thor

After the devastating events that shook the “company” to its core in the previous situation, Scot Harvath and the enigmatic ‘Old Man’ are back on track, determined to restore their organization’s strength and continue their relentless fight against terrorists worldwide. Although they have lost their Department of Defense contract, their resolve remains unwavering.

In this new scenario, the sudden demise of the Chairman of the Federal Reserve sends shockwaves through the nation. A list of five potential candidates to replace the position has been carefully concealed, but to everyone’s surprise, all five nominees are kidnapped on the same night, leaving the government and the Federal Reserve baffled.

As the situation unfolds, a chilling message is delivered when one of the candidates is discovered murdered in a public location. The authorities must handle this crisis discreetly, avoiding public panic and apprehension. The urgency intensifies when a CIA operative receives intelligence from the Jordanian government about a potential terrorist attack targeting the United States, yet the details are kept under wraps until a quid pro quo is reached.

The Federal Reserve turns to Harvath and his team, tasking them with rescuing the hostages and thwarting any terrorist plots against the institution. However, nothing is as straightforward as it seems. The group behind the kidnappings appears to be anarchist, aiming to dismantle the Federal Reserve. Harvath must untangle a web of deceit, uncover the masterminds, and confront the complex ties to CIA ‘Black Op’s.’

The novel also serves as a thought-provoking commentary on the Federal Reserve, raising awareness about its questionable nature and potential self-serving interests. Brad Thor seamlessly blends political critique with a riveting thriller, delivering a compelling narrative that captivates from start to finish.

Amidst the political intrigue and perilous challenges, Harvath finds an unexpected partner in Detective Cordova, a Boston Homicide Detective, adding a personal dimension to their high-stakes work.

Brad Thor’s writing is sharp, concise, and keeps the tension pulsating throughout the entire book. The character development is superb, and the author skillfully reveals secrets that keep readers eagerly turning the pages.

In conclusion, “Hidden Order” serves as both a gripping novel and an eye-opening exploration of the problems within the Federal Reserve System. Brad Thor’s adept storytelling effortlessly weaves together a thrilling narrative with thought-provoking insights, making it an enthralling and impactful read.

While it was a good book, I must admit that I got a bit lost in the story, possibly because I had a few other books on the go. It revolved around an ex-Navy SEAL, and I might need to recheck the storyline to fully grasp it. Nevertheless, I did enjoy it, and overall, it was not a bad read. It seems like the storyline may continue, but I’m uncertain about the title of the next book in the series.
