i followed the media coverage of gary’s ‘trial’, and found myself fascinated by the man behind the circus…
i’ve listened to all of his ‘i catch killers’ podcasts and the one thing that shines thru is gary’s unflinching passion in his pursuit of justice for the victims of crime; his empathy for the families is a quality that put him heads above his peers in nsw police. this story of his rise and ultimate fall within that establishment is compelling reading, it has served to reinforce my admiration for gary, for standing by those affected so tragically by crime, and for staying true to his own values.
goes to show how one person really can make difference.
thank you gary, for your relentless energy througout your career, i’m so sorry it was taken from you in such an awful way by some truly indecent human beings.
