Set In New Olympus And Infused With A Scientific Spin. Innocence Trilogy Fans Will Love It! FROM: BEAUTYS BEAST, BOOK ONE This is book one in the Beauty and the Rose trilogy (also called Billionaires Captive), which is a steamy modern spin on Beauty and the Beast. It takes place in the fictional New Olympus. Fans of the Innocence trilogy, Marcus and Coras story, will appreciate a little crossover between the two trilogies. The story takes place in New Olympus. It revolves around Belladonna, a research company that until recently was headed by Dr. Piers Laurel. The company\’s original mission was to find a cure for Battleman\’s disease, the illness that Dr. Laurel\’s wife fought and which eventually took her life. When she died seven years ago, the doctor was overcome by his failure to save his wife and was lost to his depression. The board fell under the influence of conniving Adam Archer, heir to Archer Industries, a billion dollar empire. Adam, along with Logan Wulfe, had conducted research at Belladonna under Dr. Laurel. Adam wanted to shift the company\’s focus from diseases to cosmetics, which are more profitable. Dr. Daphne Laurel, twenty-six, has devoted her career to research. She lost her mother to Battlemans disease and hopes to find a cure for others. Her fathers recent illness, though, has brought uncertainty to Belladonna. The company is struggling. Daphne has stepped into the CEO shoes in her fathers absence, but she is out of her comfort zone and the Board is looking for change. Daphne paints a positive picture of her fathers condition to anyone who asks after him, as she hopes that will buy her time with the Board. Devoted to her research, Daphne has no social life. In fact, she has never had a boyfriend. She does happen to have a secret admirer of sorts, though. Every year since her eighteenth birthday, she finds a single rose. It never comes with a note or a hint of the identity of her admirer. She has wondered if it might be her father, but has ruled it out. Daphne has attended the Autumn Gala since she was a teen, and this year is no different. The high society event has her representing the company and rubbing elbows with New Olympuss finest. Marcus and Cora Ubeli, in particular, have been pivotal to Belladonnas success with their generous donations over the years. Adam Archer seems a little more interested in Daphne than usual this night. He had conducted research at Belladonna, along with Daphne, until he left to run his fathers company. She has been working with him recently in an effort to save Belladonna. They are discussing a possible merger. The Beast, thirty-five, is going to re-balance the scales of justice, beginning on the night of the Autumn Gala. The masks donned by attendees provide the perfect opportunity for him to blend in with the crowd. He hates the arrogance on display, but he will put them all in their place soon enough. He wonders if Daphne liked his rose this year. She is beautiful but nave and it is entirely too easy to lure her away to his castle. He wants everything from her. But first, he must determine if she has been corrupted, or if she is the same innocent beauty that he fell for so many years ago. The Beast and Daphne\’s story begins dark and steamy as the Beast dishes out Daphne\’s punishment. They are lost in erotica as they work through their trust issues. They have incredible chemistry together. The mystery of the Beasts identity adds to the erotic nature of their non-traditional romance. The Beasts character is complex (as expected). His two personas the old and the new are radically different. But Daphne, sheltered as her life has been, handles both fairly well. The Beast is a dominant alpha male, and Daphne discovers things about herself while under his care. The couple must find a bridge from their past while earning one anothers trust. The Beast has a vendetta, and Daphne plays a role in it, one way or another. But her innocence and sincerity surprise him, and soon he finds that it is she that has captured his heart. This book ends in a cliffhanger that leads to book two in the series, Beauty and the Thorns. The Beast and Daphne\’s story is a mix of erotica and complex storylines. It is well-written. The plot is complex. The characters are well-defined. The story is written in first person. The POV alternates between the Beast and Daphne. I rate this book 4.5 stars. FROM: BEAUTY & THE THORNS, BOOK TWO This is book two of the Beauty and the Rose series, which is a steamy modern spin on Beauty and the Beast. For fans, characters in other books by the authors make brief cameos in the story. Marcus and Cora from the Innocence trilogy make an appearance. Logan Wulfe, at twenty-seven, had always been rough around the edges. His parents were into drugs more than parenting and he was orphaned at age twelve. He grew up never having felt the love of a family. He did eventually find a mentor, and Dr. Laurel became a surrogate father figure once he began research at Belladonna. He had worked diligently towards finding the cure Dr. Laurel sought. Daphne Laurel, at nineteen, didn\’t have much of a childhood. Her mother was often sick and her father\’s sole focus was on finding a cure for his wife. To please her father and help her mother, Daphne devoted herself to her studies. At eighteen, she was nearly finished with her PhD. She spent long hours studying at the lab. It was then that she quietly tried to get noticed by Logan, her first crush. Logan became aware that Daphne was no longer a child, and as tempted as he was by her, he knew she was yet too young for him. But they spent long hours together in the lab, so they developed a close friendship over the course of a year. But Logan\’s life took a devastating turn when he discovered Adam\’s scheme to take over the company shortly after Daphne\’s mother passed. Logan ended up hospitalized and disfigured, eventually disappearing from the hospital and New Olympus. As the story opens seven years later, Dr. Laurel\’s daughter Daphne is CEO and her father is in the hospital. Belladonna is struggling. Daphne has just left Logan\’s castle to check on her father after promising Logan to return to him afterward. She had been held by him for two weeks as part of a mad plot for revenge, but by the time she left they had developed real feelings for one another. Daphne is intercepted by Adam while en route to her father and proposed to amidst a crowd of reporters. Logan is devastated by Daphne\’s betrayal. He isn\’t sure how many times he can break and still go on. So when Daphne shows up at the castle asking for him to return the Belladonna patents, he plans to make her burn for them. He is the Master, the Beast, and she is his slave. Logan and Daphne\’s story begins dark and steamy as Logan dishes out Daphne\’s punishment. They are lost in erotica as they work through their trust issues. But just as they begin to reconcile, Daphne needs to return to New Olympus and the real world. The story becomes plot-driven at this point. The couple\’s fragile truce is once again tested. The story ends with a sad twist that leads to book three in the series, Beauty and the Rose. Logan and Daphne\’s story is a mix of erotica and complex storylines. It is nicely written. The plot is complex (in the latter half). The characters are well-defined. The story is written in first person. The POV alternates between Logan and Daphne. I rate this book four stars. FROM: BEAUTY & THE ROSE This is book three of the Beauty and the Rose series. For fans, characters in other books by the authors make brief cameos in the story. Marcus and Cora from the Innocence trilogy make an appearance. The plot is very complex. To review the series thus far, Logan\’s life took a devastating turn when he discovered Adam\’s scheme to take over the company shortly after Daphne\’s mother passed. Logan ended up hospitalized and disfigured, eventually disappearing from the hospital and New Olympus. Seven years later, Dr. Laurel\’s daughter Daphne was CEO and her father was in the hospital. Belladonna was struggling. Daphne had just left Logan\’s castle to check on her father after promising Logan to return to him afterward. She had been held by him for two weeks as part of a mad plot for revenge, but by the time she left they had developed real feelings for one another. Daphne was intercepted by Adam while en route to her father and proposed to amidst a crowd of reporters. When Daphne later showed up at the castle asking for Logan to return the Belladonna patents, he planed to make her burn for them. He was the Master, the Beast, and she was his slave. The couple came to terms again and finally got rid of Adam, but not without tremendous public embarrassment and personal pain. But just as they were finally free, Battleman\’s disease hit Daphne, an effective death sentence. Here, Logan learns about Daphne\’s diagnosis and history with the disease that took her mother\’s life. History stands to repeat itself as Logan is determined to save Daphne by finding a cure, much like Dr. Laurel before him. Daphne grapples with the relapse of the a disease that crippled her twice before in her childhood. With Daphne diminished physically, she and Logan both struggle with the physical desires that once played such an important part of their relationship. When the couple finally comes to terms with their reality, figures from their past reappear and trouble returns. In the end, the couple earns their happy ending. Hints of a spin-off book about Sebastian St. James, a dark and secretive figure from New Rome, end the story. Logan and Daphne\’s story takes a tragic turn when Battleman\’s disease returns. As they struggle for a cure, familiar characters enter the mix. Logan and Daphne\’s journey is a steamy story with complex storylines. It is nicely written. The plot is complex. The characters are well-defined. The story is written in first person. The POV alternates between Logan and Daphne. I rate this book four stars. Beautys Beast- This is like Beauty and the Beast with darkness and twists. Daphne is the CEO of her familys company after her dad suffers a stroke. She is also very innocent and naive. Adam and Daphne have known each other for a long time and he has started to show he likes her. Adams company is going to merge with hers, so she doesnt lose it. He wants to merge their personal lives also. The Beast has cared and loved Daphne for years. When he is reunited with her, she has been drugged. He takes her to his castle where he wants her to obey everything he says. He wants her to be completely dependent on him and want only him. He doesnt believe he is as innocent as she seems, however, she is more innocent than ever. These two have a deep connection and Daphne is wondering how he knows so much about her. This is a D/s read, with darkness, suspense, truths unveiled, steam and twists and turns. I cant wait for more of Daphne and the Beast. Beauty and the Thorns- Daphne was shocked when Adam proposed to her. He is not the one she wants, but Logan will not believe her. He wants to punish her for what he thinks she did. You do see more of what happened in their past, when she was eighteen years old. The beasts arent always those who look like them, they are usually the ones who seem perfect and nice. This is a dark romance and erotic. The connection that Daphne and Logan have becomes stronger, but it is fragile due to the hurt Logan has in his past. The chemistry between them is explosively hot. While Logan is a beast and a monster, he is all Daphnes. There are times that he shows that softness and kindness. I love Daphne and the beasts story and cant wait to see them get their full revenge on all that have betrayed them. You need to read Beautys Beast before reading this. I will be eagerly waiting for the final book. I love this series and the characters, and you get to see a couple familiar faces from the first series. Beauty and the Rose- Logan now knows that Daphnes Battlemans disease is back. He didnt know she has been in remission. He promises her he will find a cure for her no matter what. He doesnt want to lose the person he has loved for so long. He will battle everything and everyone who stands in his way. I loved the way Stasia and Lee wrapped their story up. There is more suspense, truths revealed, monsters in disguise, revenge, love and some twists and turns. These two have gone through so much to be together. Now that they are close to getting everything they want, Will something or someone come between them and tear them apart? This trilogy is definitely a dark Beauty and the Beast remake. I loved this story and was hooked from the beginning. I didnt want to put it down, I just needed to know what would happen next. This story is gripping and the authors just keep you captivated until the end and you will want more. I cant wait to read what these two authors come up with next. They are a great writing duo and I have loved all of their characters. Snag up this trilogy set.

Audiobook Innocence (Tales of Olympus #1) by Lee Savino Stasia Black
This is the complete series of Beauty and the Rose. The first is Beauty\’s Beast, Beauty and the Rose, and Beauty and the Thorns. These stories are continuations of the same story. Daphne and Logan are fighting to find a cure, Logan wants revenge and is using Daphne. This is a retelling of Beauty and the Beast sort of. There is drama and steam and it plays out over three books. Will Logan change his plans. I loved the characters and the action of the story. These are all great books and to have them all in one collection if brilliant. Loved this series. Audio Innocence (Tales of Olympus #1) narrated by Jack Calihan
Billionaire\’s Captive by Lee Savino and Stasia Black contains three books following the continuing story of the Beast/Logan and Daphne. It contains three novels including Beauty\’s Beast, Beauty and the Thorns, and Beauty and the Rose. This collection is a take off on the Beauty and the Beast fairy tale but with an adult twist. The characters are well developed. The intriguing story line is continuous throughout the three novels. I highly recommend this erotic romantic trilogy. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
