Just One Reason (Paradise Romance #3)

I loved getting to know Terri and Elizabeth (Sam). Terri was in no way ready for a relationship. After 2 failed marriages and numerous one night stands, she’d had enough. She was actually married to her job as a doctor and that is absolutely all she wanted. Sam was an intern but against her wishes. Photography was her one and only love. However, if Sam completes her studies and becomes a doctor and takes over her grandfathers practice, she will inherit millions of dollars. So, the big question is will the heart win or will the money! Neither Terri or Sam could get the other off her mind. This was a sort of age gap but not by much. It was also an almost instant attraction but neither was willing to act on their feelings. I think Sam was the braver of the two and really got the ball rolling. I loved both of these ladies and was totally immersed in their story from page 1. It was fun catching up with the main characters from the first two books in the series. This author sure does know how to write the steamy scenes!!! This was a most enjoyable book and I assume this is the last book in the series but would be happy to have just one more. I ‘m not really ready to say goodbye to all these characters. Many, many thanks to the author for this really, really good book! I totally recommend all three books in this series.

Loved the character expansion into Terris life. The introduction to Sam was sure to make the reader fall in love with her too. Interspersed with just enough overthinking and misunderstandings to heighten the anticipation, Jamie Clevenger, clearly establishes the literary foreplay, leading the reader to a climactic finish. I loved the series for more than Just One Reason! Each book in the series, incorporates just enough push and pull, to keep the reader turning pages. Filled with fiery passion, theres enough steamy love scenes to light your fire and keep it stoked. Another fantastic read from a delightfully talented author.

First the characters were very well written and the scenes were nicely detailed.

The first interaction between Terri and Sam, plus Terri’s so called friend Reed left me do uncomfortable with the sheer amount of disrespect shown towards Terri.

Between Sam not accepting Terri’s refusal to date her and Reed giving out Terri’s phone number against Terri’s wishes. I just had to stop reading, I found myself wanting Terri not to hook up with Sam and break off her unhealthy friendship with Reed.

This was a successful completion of the Paradise series. I liked Terry and Sam and the development of their relationship. Sam walked away from her residentship because she could not abide with the stipulations her grandfathers will had for her to inherit $41,000,000.00. Otherwise, if she did not, the money would be donated to a homophobic religious organization. Terry wanted Sam to change her mind because she felt she could be a great doctor. In the process, she came to the realization that she was increasingly attracted to Sam and Sams life as a photographer made Sam happy and ultimately, Terry came to fall in love with Sam to the point of reaching their HEA. Lets not forget our favorite twins Bryn and Carly who were just as adorable in this book as the other two previous books. Love those kids and their moms!

Kind of like jalapeno jelly – hot, sweet, and kind of silly. The suave Butch with a strap-on who is almost a doctor meets the powerful Femme who doesn’t want control in the bedroom. Sound familiar? Of course Jaime Clevenger has recreated her wonder couple Reed and Julia with a twist as Sam and Terri. Oh, and the difference of $11,000,000 that hangs in the balance. Read all of these related books- the sex is always super hot, and beach locations are amazing.
