Love Riot defines some problems we struggle with as the world tries to encroach on our relationship to God. Then Sara Barratt outlines how to change that relationship and challenges us to grow in our relationship with Jesus. She helps us see Gods love for us as individuals and shows how that will motivate us to love others well, speak out and live in radical conviction. I like how this book is written with teenagers in mind, and yet challenges everyone to draw closer to God. This book has a great mix of personal testimony, scripture and explanations, plus inspiring stories of people sharing Jesus and making a difference.

This book is not just for teens its for all of us. As a youth leader I was beyond excited to read this book. After reading Love Riot I felt this was so amazing that I ended up ordering 22 copies. Love Riot is a battle cry against low expectations and how to live a life sold out for Christ. The Author Sara Barratt shares her concern for the apathetic faith that is so prevalent today. We all know the staggering numbers of youth that walk away from the church never to return and its heartbreaking. This book challenges us to live lives of radical devotion to God. I was filled with encouragement, inspiration and hope for the future of the church. My favorite quote from Love Riot I have a vision for my generation. I can see us rising up to be the most devoted, most committed, most passionate generation of Jesus followers the world has ever seen. Beneath the surface lies a dormant passion for God. We just need to wake it up. -Sara Barratt

Audiobook Love Riot: A Teenage Call to Live with Relentless Abandon for Christ by Sara Barratt
I became interested in this book written for teens, after reading an article by the author. I didnt expect too much from a nineteen year old author. Love Riot, however, exceeded my expectations. It can be a book for any age. Practical and encouraging.

Audio Love Riot: A Teenage Call to Live with Relentless Abandon for Christ narrated by Erin Spencer
I bought this book because I loved the book \”Do Hard Things\” and it was recommended by Brett Harris one of the authors of that book. \”Love Riot\” woke me up and reminded me to stay close to my God. If you\’ve ever been \”on the fence\” or sick of Christian Culture, this book is for you. Sara Barratt walks you through her discovery of her faith, shares tips on how she stays close to God and calls the reader out to experience God personally – individually.

I love that this book was written for teens but it spoke to my heart too-it challenged me, convicted me, reminded me of so many things, and it ignited the passion deep in my soul to hunger after God and everything He has for me! I cant wait to get a small group of teens together to read and study this together! I bought a copy for each one of my 8th grade students for their graduation from our Christian school!
