Gavin and his daughter returned home after his divorce. He felt that the break up of his marriage was his fault. He felt like he needed to stay away from women. Then he met Kat, Emma’s teacher. Kat thought that Emma had problems that needed professional help. Gavin was upset over her suggestion but when Kat started having problems with a stalker he had to protect her. But it took Emma being missing to finally bring them together..
I ‘ve enjoyed reading about the Danver family. I think this is the best so far.

This romance novel slowly brings together two people with emotional issues from their past. Gavin who is divorced with one child, sees compassion in his child’s computer teacher, Kat Williams. There will be incidents which will be a mystery for some time in the story. Fortunately, the three main characters seek professional support as they work to overcome those past experiences which could impede their happiness and chance to love again.

Audiobook Make Me Yours by Iris Morland
Well developed characters share in a child with anxiety. Trying to help her, brings them together. Add in a stalker, threats, destruction, and mental illness. What seems chaotic and stressful becomes a lifetime of love.

Audio Make Me Yours narrated by Grace Grant Teddy Hamilton
I enjoyed getting to know the enigmatic third child of the Danvers clan. We barely got to hear about Gavin in his siblings books, so it was interesting to learn more about his life and challenges. We had a better opportunity to meet Kat in the previous book, but we really didnt get to find out what makes her tick. The thing that impressed me the most about this book is the way it shows encouragement for getting professional help with mental and emotional difficulties. It also does a very good job of showing the ways those difficulties impact more than just the individual experiencing them. I liked seeing the ways the instant connection between Gavin and Kat manifested, but Im not sure I completely believe in the relationship that comes from it. The author did such a good job explaining all the ways their expectations didnt align, that it was a bit of a surprise to me that they were able to overcome them so easily. I thought the thread of intrigue added to the immediacy of the connection between Gavin and Kat, though I cant say I was shocked by the identity of the culprit behind it. I particularly liked the epilogue and how it brings the three siblings stories together.
I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book through Hidden Gems Books.

I received this book as an ARC copy in exchange for my honest review. Firstly I would like to say this is more of 3.5 stars than an actual 4. To be really honest I thought that the book was a little boring. I don’t know the races of both the main characters honestly doesn’t factor, which is fine but the book is legit boring maybe it’s the dialogue or the lack of any substance but I didn’t really feel much of a spark between the two main characters. Because this book is a part of a series, the characters have already met and we as readers are kind of put in medias res with their relationship and character development. I have not read the previous book so I was a little baffled to some kissing incident that happened previously and keeps being mentioned. Gavin is single dad who was married to a mentally unstable woman and there was an incident that his daughter saw that was so traumatic that now she has serious episodes of PTSD. They are now divorced and he has moved away in an attempt to help his daughter heal, but she struggles in social environments and seriously all her adult educators are horrible people who instead of helping her continue to call her “odd” and alienate her. Kat steps in when Avery has an incident at school and tries to get to the core of the problem to help her which puts her around Gavin more and more. Kat and Gavin finally succumb to their budding romance only to run into problems from the past and currents problems that test their relationship. It’s a solid 3.5 not bad but not great either.
