One to Keep (Nights in Bliss, Colorado #3)

The narrators did a good job. I enjoy these low angst storylines in this series that have action and enjoyable characters.

One to Keep is definitely a keeper and worth more than a credit! Excellent narration even with the Russian accents for both Kitty Bang and Lee Samuels. Kitty Bang does a bang up job with her British accent, too! I am a huge fan now and have been searching for more Lee Samuels narrations. His voice is sexy smooth like Christian Fox and Jacob Morgan. The romance made my stomach swirl in delight and pang in sadness for the main characters. Curious what will become of Alexei and Holly. The sex scenes were hot with the BDSM to boot. Enjoyed the suspense a great deal. Couldnt turn the audiobook off because I was on my toes. The fish out of water humor with Alexei made me chuckle loudly on so many occasions. I did find some of the dumb ass or pervie terms more suitable for Gen Xers in their 20s in the 1980s. It doesnt seem to work for current verbiage in 2020 for millennials or Gen Z. It kind of shows me that Lexi Blakes language could be a bit outdated. I did laugh a bit too much with the 3rd act standoff and the characters professing their love during the standoff. I also thought Rachel was a bit too ridiculous with not getting to the point of Jennifer being in trouble. Otherwise, truly an amazing journey, excellent story, with an amazing cast of characters. I highly recommend!!

Sophie Oak/ Lexi Blake\’s \”Nights in Bliss, Colorado\” series is like a humorous, eccentric, kinky soap opera set in Bliss, Colorado. A tiny town inhabited by dozens of delightfully charming, quirky, and entertaining characters who don\’t blink an eye at unconventional relationships, there is enough fodder in Bliss to keep the saga going for years to come. The series is a bit predictable, with each installment focusing on one budding non-traditional romance while dealing with a mystery or turmoil of some type. \”One to Keep\” opens with young artist Jennifer Waters being bailed out of a Dallas jail by her one-time mentor and unrequited love interest, Stefan Talbot, after being accused of stealing a valuable painting from the art gallery where she works. Despite her reluctance, Stef takes Jen back to Bliss. Stef is conflicted; he wants Jen as his submissive and his wife, but he wants her to grow up and see the world before she commits to him. The folks responsible for the theft show up in Bliss thinking Jen has the missing painting, and they are willing to kill to retrieve it. I usually prefer hearing different voice actors portray each couple (or thriple, as the case may be) in a series, so I was initially dismayed to discover that Lee Samuels and Kitty Bang narrated the entire series, but I ended up enjoying the familiarity of their voices. Each book felt like a chance to catch up with old friends. I discovered this series while reading Lexi Blake\’s \”Masters & Mercenaries\” and \”Forgotten\” series and have listened to most of the books two or three times. If you appreciate Lexi Blake\’s creativity and writing style, you will enjoy this series. Skip this series if you don\’t see the entertainment value in tongue-in-cheek humor and quirky characters (like an alien hunter, nudists, artists, and Birkenstock wearing tree-huggers), or if you have issues with light BDSM or love outside of the traditional one man with one woman relationship.

Big fan of this author love her stories. little cheesy on the romance but as always she comes through. Love her secondary characters.

Lexi Blake your are amazing! the characters are so vivid and I love the bits I catch from other books if you have read any of the series in Lexi Blake world!
