Some spoilers
Let me start off with what I loved- Mag!
This was just ok. I guess I feel the same way as a lot of people do…no chemistry between Jo and Rider. I felt as though Jo was nothing special. Even Jewel reminded Rider that Jo was no more special to him than the club women. To this, he agreed!!
Which brings me to Jewel. I couldn’t stand her in this book. It was like Bliss all over again. And what does Jo do after Jewel tries to sabotage her relationship with Rider twice? She convinces Rider to help Jewel not get kicked out of the club. Really?? And how does Jewel thank Jo? By sitting down front row seat, enjoying the showdown of Rider telling Jo that he doesn’t love her. I guess that bothered me the most. The fact that Jewel was never really sorry for her actions. And of course we had to read about her being the hero, with the whole Aly situation. Grrr.
I’ve read every Last Rider book there is, along with every spin off. Because you kind of have to read the spin offs in between novels, or you’ll miss stuff. I learned that the hard way when I didn’t read Sex Piston, the first book of the biker bitches series. Instead I went straight to Shade’s Fall when it came out. And it started off with Lily coding in the hospital. I was like huh? Did I miss something? I even went back to Knox’s stand, checking to see if I forgot something. Nope. I just had to read biker bitches. Anyway, one thing I dislike about them all, is at times I find the writing to be very confusing. There are so many times that I don’t know who was talking, or why suddenly everyone is fighting, or everyone suddenly is laughing, or making a hasty retreat…and it’s not because I can’t follow along. It’s the writing. There are times I go back 3 times trying to figure out what just happened.
This is the first jamie begley book where I gave a negative review. So I must not have enjoyed riders revenge. Will I read gavins story if he gets one? Of course. Lol

Rider\’s Revenge audiobook in series Last Riders
***SPOILERS SPRINKLED THROUGHOUT***
Not my favorite in the series but it was definitely unputdownable!
Without a doubt my favorite thing about this book was Jo! She was the perfect blend of past Last Rider heroines with a heaping dose of awesome all of her own. Loved how strong, fun, inquisitive, accepting, kind, clever & crazy-talented she was! The adrenaline rush she got when driving fast cars/motorcycles, her mad mechanic skills, her inability to look away from the security room monitors on a Friday night, her plowing everyone’s driveways, her not completely freaking out upon entry to the clubhouse, not to mention her EPIC kitchen speech at the 83% mark … Those are just some of the reasons why I fell in love with Jo. She is definitely one of my FAVORITE Jamie Begley heroines! 🙂
What I struggled with in this one (& I truly hate to say it) was Rider. I just wasn’t convinced that he had true, IN love feelings for Jo by book’s end. I wanted to believe in his love for Jo but since he played games with Jo’s heart (& admitted it) up through the 83% mark of this book & then a scene later says he’s ready to take a chance… it just didn’t come across as believable to me. I truly wish that we would’ve gotten more “real” Rider chapters; after they returned from their trip & he finally confessed his “I love you” to her. Some fun dating scenes, picnic or fair in town… anything like that! I really liked the many different sides of Rider but needed more from him, once things got “real”.
My extra little LOVES-
*Mag- Everything that came out of her mouth was priceless! She was a #SceneStealer!!
*Mick- I adored his relationship with Jo. The care & concern they showed for one another was beautiful.
*Rider & Jo’s “hang out time”- Loved the car rides, the garage work & security room time they spent together. It’s cool how it’s so different than how past couples spent their time together.
My extra little DISLIKES-
*Lack of sexy times- I needed more smokin’ sex between Rider & Jo! So many times I thought we’d get to that next level (a spanking, a punishment, etc) & then BAM!, there was no follow-through. And her not getting that Last Rider “experience”… Well, that sucked balls. (And I don’t mean literally! #DangIt)
*Delara- Not a fan of the outcome of that “situation”. At. All.
*Jewell- Really disappointed with the turn her character took in this book. I would expect it from any other unattached female member but what she did was NOT true to her character & it made me sad. She lost my respect in this one.
What I NEED TO KNOW-
*Who bought Jessie Hayes at the auction? Please say it was Dustin! It’d make a great segue into Claiming His Enemy… #JustSayin’
*Gavin- This guy… *sigh* Why did he continue to stay away from almost all of the brothers & only talk to a select few people? I’m dying to know!
*Lyle’s Death- He got shot & died in Keeping What’s His but in this one it said a certain a****** tampered with his car, resulting in his death… #ColorMeConfused
Looking forward to more addicting books in this amazing saga! My fingers are crossed that Dustin Porter’s book is next!!

Audiobook Rider\’s Revenge by Jamie Begley
Should have stopped at epilogue 2. What a truly depressing way to wrap up a book. I don’t consider that a HEA. Book was good. Just the ending ruined it for me.

Audio Rider\’s Revenge narrated by Elizabeth Hart
Sadly, this was just an ok read for me. I did enjoy the story but I just didn’t get as fired up throughout this book as I did in previous books in this series. I felt like it was missing the angst that I’ve come to expect from Jamie Begley and there were a few spots where I felt like I had missed something. That epilogue, though! That gave me the feels that I missed through a lot of the book and bumped up my rating to 3.5 stars. I still love this series and author hard and definitely look forward to the next one!

Theres so much more to Rider than the reader would ever know from the previous stories. Yeah, there have been hints here and there. But I still wasnt expecting the roller coaster ride of a story. And he definitely met his match in Jo. I loved it. Well, except for the epilogue. After they have their HEA Im done. I dont want to read about them when theyre at their end. It takes away from the HEA in my opinion.
