Slade (The Protectors #6)

Man, these books just keep getting better. I really loved this book. I totally loved Jill and Slade together. Their connection was combustible. Jill really comes into her own during this book and becomes a warrior in her own right. I loved Steve and how on the paintball course in their initiation for them becoming warriors he jumped in front of Jill and took a round to the chest so she still had a chance to completing the initiation. Jill and Jax became closer once he stopped being such an a*sehole and thinking that shes a liability, he even taught her how to parallel park and a refresher on driving before her driving test and didnt even yell much after they hashed out that hed only yell if she was going to crash. I loved the family unit with all the warriors especially the half-breeds Jill, Adam and Steve since theyve been through so much together. I loved the snippets of Jax and Caroline and Im really looking forward to their story as even though Jax walked away from Caroline after kissing her like their lives depended on it but hes trying to distance himself as his psycho brother, even his sisters spirit is was frightened when Jill went missing as she knew that their brother had her and they need to rescue her soon but as weve seen in previous books Caroline doesnt mind sticking up for herself which is amazing to see since see was beaten down by her ab*sive ex-fianc Rob but he didnt k*ll her spirit. So Jax doesnt have a sh*t show of her giving up or hell be back since that Kiss meant something to him and how hard it was to walk away from her. I loved how Jill got to reconnect with her father and her brothers Tyler and wee Seth for a minute but her mum and sister dont like her because shes a half-breed and they are scared but they didnt even try to understand her differences and assumed the worst. Jills dad is awesome especially telling Janies boyfriend off for pointing a g*n at his other daughter and to never do it again. Id recommend this book, series and author to everyone.

I think this is my favorite book in the series so far. You cant help but love Jill, she is sweet and innocent and can take off someones head with a smile. Then there is Slade, or shall we say Dr McHottie, he is as gorgeous as they come and the perfect example of domineering alpha male, he can heal you or kill you all with the flick of a wrist. To say fireworks happen when these two get together is an understatement. The author was able to convey so much with just a few well placed words. This book is filled with action, danger, and emotion that will leave you in a state of wonder when you reach the HEA. I really dont know how she can top it, but I look forward to reading the next book and finding out.

I have read the series at least 4 times, from start to finish. Slade is a wonderfully delicious and powerful warrior with the added bonus of being a doctor. Jill is the only half breed and woman going through the program to become a warrior. This book takes you through all the challenges that are put before them. It has touching and heartbreaking situations, sexy moments, as well as laugh out loud scenes. You will not be sorry at all for buying this book, but my suggestion is start with Damon and get to know this insanely intense family of warriors. Teresa is an amazing writer who pulls you in to each situation as if you were standing among them. Her characters are extremely well developed, each personality unique and familiar.

Slade and Jills story was even better than I was hoping it would!! Ive been wanting this story since we first met Slade. The sexual tension between Jill and the Dr. was a fantastic read. Jill is a badass warrior in training that she proved worthy to be there with the men. This series is fantastic!! There is so much that I love in these books. The author does fantastic when ending a story that the warriors are working on and gradually bringing in another problem the warriors will face that keeps you wanting to jump to reading the next book. If you are just start reading this series then start with book number one Damons story. Absolutely wonderful series!!

I gave this book 5 stars, as I am an avid reader and adore Teresa Gabelman’s protector series! Highly anticipated and worth more than the pennies we spend on her books, it was a great addition to the series. I love the way the characters have developed and how new ones were introduced, it leaves room for more to be added to the series and also leaves readers with enough curiosity to pursue additional releases. It is a series that leaves you wanting… more! I love been drawn into a world of alpha males, their mates and the tension of love passion and complex relationships with plenty of humour. I cannot recommend this book and the series enough, I look forward to the future of the VC Warriors and those that surround them. Love your work Teresa!
