oh my….got to second book in the series and had no idea what was going on….the abridgement in the first one must have cut out so much that there is zero continuity here….audible folks arent you listening to all the rants in reviews of your abridged star wars books? do something and finally release unabridged versions already!!!!!!
Make it part of the story line. Seems as part II was just filler to lead up to part III. Thoroughly disappointed. Almost felt deceived. Only continued to the end to see if it could possibly get better or have some relevance. It did not. Here’s hoping Part III does not pick up where II left off.

I thought I had missed a book. Missing context, nothing to do with the rest of the series. Do not read this book, just skip to the next one.
Skip this book it’s completely unrelated from the last book and it’s confusing.
I’m buying the next book hopefully it continues the story I was enjoying.

Audiobook Force Heretic II: Refugee by Sean Williams
Weird book! In the midst of 20+ books, as part of the New Jedi Order series, this one has nothing to do with the enemy of the Jedi, the Yuzong Vong, and barely anything in common with any of the other 20+ books. Very random and out of character from the rest of the series, all of which I have given either 4 or 5 Stars.

Audio Force Heretic II: Refugee narrated by Jonathan Davis
I am running out of unabridged Star Wars books. So I figured I’d give an abridged version a try…. yeah that was a mistake. The worst part of abridged is trying to understand what is happening in the story. Which is the exact opposite of why I listen to the stories. I went from the first heretic story to this one and I can’t even figure out how the two stories are in the same series. It’s really jarring. I will never buy another abridged book again.

the only thing i didnt like is that sometimes the sound effects are to loud and distract from the dialogue.
