Stone Vows (The Stone Brothers #3)

I just started reading Samantha Christy books. The Stone brothers was a good place to start. But Kyle stole my heart. I loved that even though he was wealthy. He didnt feel a need to flaunt it, he was currently a intern at the hospital doing his residency. One day Kyle see Elizabeth sitting on bench in front of emergency dept. he asked if she needed help. Elizabeth was pregnant and bleeding. He got her in the hospital. She had an issue where she needed to stay off her feet. But Kyle just had a feeling she needed help, he thought she was possibly homeless. She later returned to hospital, where it was necessary to stay until delivery. He was assigned to her case and only grew more attached to her. But after baby was born she left hospital. So he had his brother Ethan private investigator look into her life. Realize that she was possibly running from her husband. Kyle worried about her until one day she showed up at his front door. There more to story I will leave for you to enjoy. Good read.

This is my first time reading this author, and I was blown away! Yep, I started with the 3rd book in the series, and I have no regrets, except that now I want to read the first 2 books in the series. I initially, I chose this book because of the sexy picture on the front of the Kindle bookcover. As a retired RN, I still have fantasies of about the very handsome and hot interns and residents I worked with all those years ago. Most of them were already married, as I was and still am (our 50 year anniversary this summer to my very hot and sexy BSEE/MsCS), but, hey, a gal can still get lost in the romance. This book works well as a stand alone read, but the references to all the wonderful characters connected to the Stone brothers, compel me to now read the books that come before this one.
Stone Vows is a beautiful story about love, attraction, and the realization that there is that one person that you need to be with in your lifetime. I heard a very difficult time putting this book down. I was so caught up in Elizabeth and Kyle’s story. I am very happy I chose to read this author and look forward to reading her other books.

I just discovered Samantha Christy and she had become my new favorite. The characters are so well developed and real. The love is so deep and real, and everything a woman had ever dreamed of.
I read the men on fire trilogy backwards and then started this trilogy with the last book first. She is so good it’s okay to read them in whatever order you like! And yet they all combine into one world.

It is truly amazing her work is the best I’ve come to know. And trust me when I say I read a lot! I work at a library and have always dreamed of being an author. Books are my obsession!

Samantha Christy is the best!

I’m one of the people that has triggers, so that’s why I read the stories in the order I did. It helps me to know that the characters wound up okay, happy, whole, and with the good guy. I also like to challenge myself though. I don’t want to live my life held back by those triggers so I still read things when I’m in a good enough mental place. Samantha’s books touch on sensitive subject and this book was harder than the other trilogy I have read but, it wasn’t too hard.

That is something I truly respect about her. She touched on these things but helps you through it. The other characters helping each other through tough things helps you through it also.

It’s incredible the things Samantha is able to do. She is pure magic, and I’m going to go but another one of her books now!

This is a good read and out of the Stone Brothers this one became my favorite. Alexa Lucas is a Abused Wife and ran off from her abusive husband when she finds out shes pregnant, she changes her name and runs off to NY City. She is brought to the Emergency Room and admitted to the hospital because she is nearing the end of her pregnancy. This is where she meets Dr. Kyle Stone whom is taken with her from the beginning he develops feelings for her and vice versa. She ups And disappears after the baby is born because she overheard Dr Stone talking to a Professional Baseball Player to meet her since she seemed to be a huge baseball fan of his. She cant let him see her. Once she has disappeared a few weeks later her abusive husband comes looking for her and shows her picture and tells what her name is but he denies knowing much of anything about her and he never mentioned the baby. Months later she resurfaced and knocks on his door and the confrontation over what he learned and you find out who the professional Baseball Player is to her and she explained once reunited with him and she feared for his life because her husband was a dirty police officer. Kyle and her have issues to work through with her not being truthful with him from the beginning and how he falls in love with her daughter who turns out to be deaf. Its a beautiful story of love, forgiving and starting over.
The whole series is great reading and you get character updates on previous book couples from her Mitchell Sisters series. But this one ended up being my favorite I fell in love with Dr Kyle Stone. Very much worth the read. Samantha Christy has become a favorite Author of mine pick up some of her series and enjoy.

Yes he’s a doctor, but he has a heart of gold. Even at times when your supposed to turn your emotions off. Kyle never does
Elizabeth Smith AKA Alexa Lucas I have to say I give this woman a world of props. It’s easy stay when you know you should run. But there was something stronger for her to live for.
