The switch is a career success book written by two brothers, namely, Dan Heath and Chip Heath. They both have great insights into career success, leadership, and management matters. They both have benefited their followers a lot with strong books on career success and leadership which namely are: Made to Stick and Decisive.
The narration of this book is done by Charles Kahlenberg. The narration was too bad. The listeners found it a tough read as the intonation patterns of the narrator were hard to decipher. You will hardly have an idea if the author is still talking about the same theme or he has moved to the next one.

As per the authors of this book, the primary obstacle in our lives is a conflict that makes its place in our brains. Psychologists have figured out that the minds of humans are governed by a couple of different systems. One of them is the emotional mind while the other one is the rational mind. They are the ones which compete for our control. We need to understand the working of both the systems of our mind. Only after this, we will be able to implement things in our lives for gaining the success that we strive for.

You will enjoy this book but probably not as much as some of the other books by the authors’ duo. It is probably because of the poor narration and poor audio quality of this book. However, the content of this book is excellent. A lot of people believe that this is not a suitable book to be presented in audio format.
