The Firework Exploded (The Holidays #3)

I am such a huge fan of The Holiday Series and as with the other two books in the series Tara Sevic has proven once again that she is not only a great romance writer, but a comedy genius. I really hope and pray that this is not the last of the Holiday Series because I cannot get enough of this family and their crazy antics. With this book we get the wedding of Noel and Sam. Without giving too much away, if you have read the previous books in the series then you know that crazy only these things could happen to them must happen before they actually get married and it is an absolutely sweet and hysterical ride. If you have not read the other two books in this series it is my opinion that you at least need to read the first book in the series to see how Noel and Sam first got together. If you are able to get all three books then I strongly recommend that you do so because not only will you get a sweet love story, but you will get truly laugh out loud funny moments throughout each book. I cried tears of laughter in the first two books and again with this third installment of The Holidays series and know that you will also. I am completely certain that you will fall in love with Noel, Sam and all of their crazy friends and family because with Tara’s writing and story telling you just cannot help yourself.

Where do I begin?! I don’t want to give too much away, so I’m going to keep this short and sweet.

As with most of Tara’s books, you jump right in feet first. There’s no screwing around. The Prologue sets the story up nicely and lets you know that by the end of the book, the sh*t is going to hit the fan. As usual, the story is offbeat, hilarious, and peppered with unexpected events that sometimes had me going, “Oh, hell no!” or laughing so hard my family was giving me the side eye. By the end of the book, you’ll be wary of undead pets, never look at butter the same way again, crave Rice Krispy treats, and kind of wish you had an Aunt Bobbie.

If you’re looking for a fast paced book full of laughs, READ THIS! I guarantee you will not be disappointed!

These people and holidays just dont mixalthough that just means more hilarity for us. With all of the craziness that has happened so far on a holiday youd think that Sam and Noel would definitely not schedule their wedding on a holiday. Well if you thought that, youd be wrong. If youre in need of a pick-me-up this is the series for you. In this book there is even more wackiness that makes you wonder where Tara comes up with this stuff.

Its hard not to fall in love with all of these characters. Theyre hilarious, yet genuinely care about each other and of course there were some crazy fireworks antics that made me cringe. Man I love these books.

From the very first page to the very last I was entertained by this book. This book has just the right mix of comedy and romance. This book is the 3rd book in this series centered around Sam and Noel and I loved that she continued their story. The sarcasm and witty lines are hilarious. The flirting, the banter, the rapport between the characters was so much fun to read, was so natural, and had me laughing often. There were so many twists and unexpected events that I just never knew what might happen next! It was an eventful rollercoaster ride and I enjoyed every second! I hope Tara Sivec continues to write more books around these characters and this extended family!!! I highly recommend reading this book!

Things have moved fast for Sam and Noel since they met at Christmas and now they are planning their wedding, which is scheduled to happen on the 4th of July . . . of course!! After all, it is The Holidays!!!

Absolutely LOVE the Holidays and all their craziness and how it has affected Sam and Noel’s relationship and I just knew that a 4th of July wedding and all the preps were going to be explosive, and Tara did NOT disappoint.

You will laugh, most likely to the point that you may need a panty liner in order to finish. Either that, or you should refrain from fluids prior reading. You will also feel warm inside from the tender moments, and hot ones too, that Sam and Noel are able to share despite some issues that they’ve struggled to resolve as they prepare for their wedding.

If you are already a fan of the Holiday family, you will only come to love them even more and maybe even relate to them in some ways as they prepare for Sam and Noel’s wedding.

Tara’s sense of humor is so very evident in this series and I am so glad she shares it with her readers.
