Christopher G. Nuttall introduced us to the crew of the Ark Royal a few years ago and the men in the ship are not heroes anymore apparently but they have the passion. They have the passion to outclass the enemy and save the planet which they love so much. So lacking potential will not stop them from trying to get rid of the enemy just as they did many years ago when their ship was in a better condition.
It is Ralph Lister again who was charged with the duty to narrate yet another episode of the series. In the last fight with the aliens, the crew not only defeated the enemy but also took one of their finest ships under its control. Admiral Theodore Smith comes home after a very long time at the end of the last mission in space.

On his arrival, he is given another mission which is more serious and only he can make this thing happen because of his vast experience in space. The high officials want him to go to the enemy’s territory this time with his crew and fight the enemy in its den.

There is a threat that none of them would be able to return home ever but this is one task they have to take for the glory of their race. Ark Royal and The Trafalgar Gambit will make you more enthusiastic if you listen to all of these books in sequence. The battle just goes bigger and bigger for the captain and his crew and they just don’t want to return empty-handed because they want to end the battle once and for all.
