Circus gets a horrifying nightmare for the visitors who come for the sake of fun. It is called the Night Circus because it opens in the night only and in the morning it just becomes non-existent for the people of the world. Everything about the circus is just awesome i.e the shows, stunts, and including the magic of two great magicians Cella and Marco. The two started learning magic when they were just little kids and since then they have been competing for domination over the other.

Rest does suit their characters because if one of them rests for a while the other can quickly take over. All of it is from the outside and from the inside the two love each other since their childhood.
They never express their love for one another but it can be felt whenever the two are on stage. Watching each other ignites the passion in them but to get a high place in the circus, the two magicians are not ready to yield for love. As the circus goes on the stunts become more and more dangerous and Erin Morgenstern depicts the development of love quite slowly.
Such developing love was also present in The Starless Sea where the author charmed the audience with the beautiful words which he used. The beautiful words of Erin are narrated by Jim Dale here; the narrator has left no stone unturned to give full expression to the words here. There is no place in the novel where the author and narrator slip from the path of excellence. Overall it is a masterpiece created by Erin for the adults; the novel has some explicit love scenes so it is not advisable for the kids.
