The Push Audiobook
The Push is a genre fiction novel. It is written by Ashley Audrain. She is a Canadian author. The Push is her debut novel which is more of a psychological drama that is told from the motherhood’s perspective. Marin Ireland narrated this book in a very excellent manner. The narrator managed to give this book a very devastating and creepy effect which was required to depict the horrific nature of the chapter.
Blythe Connor seems to quite determine that she would be the comforting and warm mom to her new baby, Violet. But going through the early exhausting thick days of motherhood, Blythe got convinced that there is something wrong with her daughter. Her behavior was not normal like other normal children.
The Push
Or is this all just in the head of Blythe? Fox, her husband says that she imagines things only. The more Fox tried to dismiss all her false beliefs and fears, the more Blythe started to question her sanity. Furthermore, the more we start to question that what she has been telling others about her own life as well.
Then, they had a new baby boy born who was named Sam. Blythe developed a very strong and blissful connection with him. Even Violet loved Sam, her little brother, but the life for them got changed all of a sudden.

If you are not one of those queasy types and you can sustain some disturbing and depressing books then you might just like this book as well. The vocal performance by Marin was outstanding as well. The book is highly recommended but you must pay heed to the warnings given.
