THE PUSH AUDIOBOOK
Ashley Audrain chooses a difficult theme in her first novel, talking about motherhood is not easy. Every woman in the world has her own experience about motherhood and the way she looks at her children. One common thing between women is that they love their children and this is one thing no one can negate. Blythe Connor was also hoping for positive things about her motherhood before the birth of her first daughter.
THE PUSH
The woman never got the love and affection of her mother so she was looking forward to providing all her love to her newborn child. Right from the first day, Blythe was concentrating on her daughter Violet but somehow there was not a very good bond between the mother and daughter.
Perhaps there was something wrong with the daughter or the mother was having some psychological issues. Blythe wanted to talk about this thing with her husband but her husband thought that she was loading her mind with stupid ideas i.e things that do not exist at all. For a few years things went on in this confused manner and then Blythe got blessed with a son i.e Sam.

Her relation with Sam was perfectly normal and this made her more confused about her daughter. The novel goes upside down later on and Marin Ireland handles things to precision in narration at this point. The narrator did the same kind of job in Anxious People and When the Stars Go Dark thus the old fans had to problem understanding the story. The voice quality becomes low at a few places but the sound remains understandable and clear.

Thank you so much for adding this incredible book to Galaxy’s amazing collection of audio-books. This maybe one of the darkest books I’ve listened to yet and one that deals with what many mothers go through. I don’t want to spoil the story so I will just say I hope this book finds it way to all the mothers who have wondered about their parenting, forgiveness, and the hell many must deal with who have children with extreme mental illness. It tells how important it is to know the generational impact we pass on to our children. There is so much we can learn from this tragic and thought provoking book. I wish I could thank the author personally. Fantastic story, excellent narration and a definite page turner. I listened straight through the entire book in one entire night and finished early the next morning. I will mention again, this is not a book to listen to if your not ready for hard truths or in a depressed state of mind. This is one that will stay with you a very long time. Thank you Galaxy for fixing the glitch.
