Her Firefly Lane novel received a lot of followership and appreciation. It is the first chapter from the Girls of Firefly Lane novel series. The Nightingale is a historical fictional novel by Kristina which has an extremely beautiful tale.
The narration of this book is done by Julia Whelan. She is an incredible narrator. Her voice will make you feel that you are sitting next to her and she is directly talking to you. She was successful in capturing all of the emotions and the different characters of this book.

The story in this novel is set in Texas in 1921. It was an era of abundance when World War I just ended. America was at the edge of an optimistic and new era. However, for Elsa Wolcott, the future doesn’t seem to be good at all. She was too old to get married when marriage seems to be the only option for a woman. One day, she met Rafe Martinelli and made up her mind to change the path of her life. She had her entire reputation in ruin. But, there was some hope and one respectable choice there. It was about getting married to a man who she hardly knows.
