The Roommate Arrangement (Arrangement #2)

I really enjoyed this story! I wasn’t so sure if I would like it but the story held my attention from start to finish. The secret between Henry and Grayson had me glued to this book, excited to unfurl the drama just waiting to unleash. I loved Saffie and my heart hurt for the unfairness she had to continuously suffer through. At first I wasn’t that fond of Grayson but in the end, he showed how much he really loved Saffie. I also found it so adorable that Vanessa named the roommates in a way that resembled the seven dwarfs. I absolutely love Vanessa’s books that resemble good old fairy tales, it just makes it that much sweeter to read. And of course, as with all her books, this was one steamy read! While I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review, I also went ahead and purchased this one so I can read it again in the future. I highly recommend this book for lovers of sweet but steamy romances!

I loved the yoga bet. The relationship between Saffie and Grayson was hilariously sexy. They both had some serious trust issues for good reason. It was great how Grayson pushed Saffie to follow her dream and how he was able to give her the family she craved.

I purchased this book on 7/17/17. I am so sorry I’m just now reading this.

I’ve been debating on my review (between 3 Stars and 4 Stars) and ended up going to 4 Stars. Though I’m not 100% convinced. There was a lot of baby- mama drama. And I think this would be a 5 Star read without it. It wasn’t needed. The rest of the book was really good. Though this was a huge step up from The Cinderella Arrangement. I didn’t like it. There are some cameo appearances but you don’t have to read The Cinderella Arrangement to enjoy this one. They are completely independent. You can read them separately. Though the book flowed but once it got down to the last 2 chapters I feel like it went into warp speed. And some parts had a hard time getting the point across. I wasn’t a huge fan of Grayson. He seemed like an entitled jerk. And poor Saffie. I really felt for her. My heart went out. I absolutely hated Henry (Saffie’s brother) and Charles (Saffie’s) dad. Hated these two with all that I am. I don’t think I’ve hated characters as much as I do them. They were horrible people.

I liked this book. Minus the baby-mama drama.

There are books that I cant put down and there are books that I really cant put down and curse to myself that I have to work the next morning; this book was definitely the latter. Its not often that I will sit and read a book straight through and I would have done so if it were possible (dang having to work for a living). The story of Grayson and Saffiewowtheir instant sexual attraction, their sexual banter, their overall chemistry was part of what kept this so interesting. There was also drama, which of course, I got emotional over reading itdarn you Vanessa!!! Also a couple good shocking discoveries along the way. I believe this is the first book that was written by just this author that I have read and fortunate for me, I have a lot of her other books on my kindle that I will certainly be binge reading on if they are anything like The Roommate Arrangement.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. I wish Grayson and Saffies story didnt end (course there is additional part of the story and my kindle had to die before I read it). Look forward to reading her other books.

I really enjoyed this read! it has humor, heartache, betrayal, revenge, and of course those steamy scenes! Saffie is out of work, and out of her apartment. Her last chance is her estranged brother Henry, who is a celebrity soccer player and the ultimate jerk. Grayson, one of 7 other players living in the house has it out for Henry and will do anything to make his life miserable. Including seducing his sister. But is it all a game? Has his thirst for revenge turned into something else? I loved Saffie and Grayson’s story! Highly recommend!!
