I did like the premise, I liked the interaction between the H and h. I liked how they decided to try to be together even with her past history and I liked how much he seemed to care for her. Right up until he ruined it for the 3rd time. Spoiler alert: so when Jensen told Emory about his Ex THAT is when you tell her about your son. Emory kept giving him chance after chance and by the time the Ex wife swooped in I was already giving up on the H. I understand trust issues but I don\’t understand love without trust. And when he finally sat her down and explained everything I was more rooting for her to walk. I was thinking be a strong independent woman and tell him NO. Take the coffee and the donuts put them in the garbage and tell him to walk. She didn\’t and it wasn\’t ever really resolved for me. It felt like Jensen was hiding his son and being a bad dad. I wasn\’t really rooting for him at all I mean if you got that much money let your co take a hit and go live near your son. He should be your # 1 priority…and why aren\’t you screaming to the world you have the best son ever? I\’m pretty sure our h would\’ve been okay waiting until they were serious. I didn\’t buy it. I knew that Jensen was the father no surprise there…but the ending felt unfinished to me. It just was kinda hanging. No resolution to his bad behavior nothing. And how was she not knocked up at the end? They condom issue seemed to be forgotten in auston it was never mentioned again…consistency please? Great lead up bad ending. Will I read it again? Maybe. Would I reccomend? I have better ones to offer.

This is Jensen Wright & Emery Robinson\’s story.. oh how juicy & yes tangled it is!! Not to mention … sexy/HOT!! \’ emery is much younger than Jensen, she actually went to school with his younger brother, Landon.. whom she also dated (her first love) for 2 years in HS.. yet, also broke her heart on graduation night… left for univ of Okla for under grad.. then to Austin, tx for grad school (where she dated her professor for several years to find him cheating on her w/ one of his students.. this takes her back home to \’Lubbock, Tx\’ … Em catches up with her, BFF.. \’Heidi \’ loved this secondary character & soo excited she gets her own book \’the wright Boss\” where she takes Em to the youngest Wright sister, wedding… Landon doesn\’t recognize her, she is no longer that \’tomboy\’ she is a beautiful woman.. while Jensen can NOT keep his eyes off her.. so the relationship begins & it is off the charts HOT!! Yet there is so much baggage in Jensen\’s life.. the \’Wright kids lost their parents at a young age.. & Jensen was the only one that was old enough (being the oldest) to take over the family business and step up as CEO of the company… while the other siblings were either in college or still in HS.. then failed marriage, long time bff, Marc deceiving him in the worst way, & so much more… so buckle up for one \’WILD \”WRIGHT BROTHER/SISTER RIDE!\” They love each other fearlessly, yet… more issues than one family could EVER deal with.. yet, somehow they do find a way!! I intend to read \’EVERY BOOK IN THE SERIES.. I HOPE the author gives EVERY \’WRIGHT\’ THEIR OWN BOOK!!

Audiobook The Wright Brother (Wright Series #2) by K. A. Linde
I cannot fathom how the author is a \”best seller\”. In the first page alone, her character finds her boyfriend of 3 years getting it on with another student in his office. Oh, and he\’s still her professor. After 3 years. Um, what? And then the utterly unrealistic depiction of her confrontation of him and then her ability to just pack up and quit her PhD program and move home. Again. What? Maybe I would have enjoyed this as a teenager who actually believed these unrealistic situations actually happened and that\’s how people actually respond to stressful moments in their life, I would enjoy this book. I could not suspend reality enough to get past the first chapter. Adding insult to injury, my \”Nope, I\’m done\” moment was when the author actually used the word PREGO to describe a pregnant belly. Yeah, no. Utterly disappointed as this book was recommended to me with much hype. It fell very, very flat.

Audio The Wright Brother (Wright Series #2) narrated by Emma Wilder Eric Michael Summerer
This was the first time I have read anything by this author. It was a great story and I look forward to reading the rest of the books in the series. The connection to the characters was very strong, I would even read this again. Overview. Emery left Austin Tx, and her Ph.D. College life behind when she found out her boyfriend the professor was cheating on her. When she gets back home to lubbock, Tx, her BFF Heidi decided she needed to attend a wedding with her. But Emery is not happy since it\’s a \”Wright\” wedding, aka her ex boyfriend from high school Landon\’s sisters wedding. Emery swear she wanted nothing to do with the Wright brothers. But once she showed up at the church, Jensen Wright, the oldest was watching her. Later at the reception, Jensen decided he needed to meet her, find out who the mystery woman was. Jensen pulls her to the side and he can\’t control himself and kisses her. Emery leaves Jensen standing in the hallway like Cinderella. But once Jensen finds out it was Emery, his brothers ex, he still could help himself. But the two have to over come a lot from their past in order to have a future.

I usually love this author but this one fell flat for me. Not enough of a meaty story. I like stories that have more than sex scenes and for a short book this didn\’t have enough of a story. No twist, no trying to figure what\’s going to happen next because you can guess it. The characters felt shallow and at times it seemed like they went against how their character is described. I think if you are looking for a light read this is a good one. I still overall love her books and writing style just not this one.
