TMI: My Life in Scandal

I am one of Perez Hiltons followers on Social Media. What I love about Perez, is that he keeps things real. His book is a reflection of living a life, true to himself and his readers getting the truth, as he continues on as a celebrity blogger. A riveting read, once my copy of the eBook was released shortly after midnight of October 6 publication date, I finished reading the whole eBook, in a few hours.

This book by probably the most hated blogger of the early 2000’s is incredibly dull. Perhaps he was afraid the famous people he talks about in it would sue. The stories are all harmless and probably have been heard before.

I was thinking this book was going to be about juicy celebrity gossip but it was more about Perez himself. Whatever gossip he does give you he quickly glosses over it. Would not recommend.

If you like Hollywood gossip, you’ll love this book! I like how it’s chapters are relatively short (5-10 pages) so it’s easy to read a chapter in between real-life tasks. It’s full of juicy tidbits about celebrities that I hadn’t heard before, and it’s done in a fun, light-hearted way. There’s nothing mean-spirited or unkind in any way. I’ve been a Perez Hilton fan since the very first days of his website and I really enjoy watching his YouTube videos. I really enjoyed learning more about Perez and his journey to where he’s at today. Highly recommend!!

I followed Perez for almost 15 years! I really enjoyed hearing more of his story which she doesnt usually talk about since hes talking about other people. Its honest, interesting, and ultimately redemptive. I have a lot of compassion and understanding for his journey. Its a quick and easy read and I highly recommend.
