Under the Rainbow

I cant think of any other words to describe this novel! Its structured as a collection of short stories that illustrate so many different point-of-views and experiences. It is absolutely vital that everyone reads this and really thinks about each character. I absolutely loved it. My only complaint is that it ended. As much as I wanted more stories and more characters and to revisit other characters, the ending was so touching and warm and uplifting.

Great characters that youll grow to love or hate. Occasionally gets a little didactic but thats really the only flaw. Love how the narrator changes by chapter and how nagging questions are revealed incidentally by other narrators. A gifted author whom I will continue to read enthusiastically.

I love love loved this book. Everything about it from the compact size of it to the short story format. I still think about the characters. I was having a hard time picking up a new book since the pandemic and this brought me back to reading again.

I absolutely loved this book. Each chapter brought a new emotion. The author did such an amazing job of truly getting the viewpoint of each character, making you empathize with everyone, no matter how different from you they may be. Very sad to get to the end because I wasnt ready to leave their world yet!

Liked the way she brought her characters to life. Read just for entertainment.
