Alexandra Harris continues with the narration in this third chapter after her satisfactory performance in the previous chapter. Some of the listeners felt that the novel is more suited for a male narrator. But, you wouldn’t have any major complaints about the performance of Alexandra.

The Others freed Cassandra for the sake of shielding the blood prophets from any manipulation. There was little to no idea that their actions would lead to some terrible consequences. The crumbly prophets in the present moment are in grave danger than ever before. Simon Wolfgard, a shapeshifter in the need of answers had no other choice than to enlist the help of Meg Corbyn. This was the case regardless of the risks she had faced by helping him.
As compared to the first two chapters of the subject series, this one lacked a bit in its storyline. The characters are also not as fascinating as expected. The ending is a bit abrupt too as it feels that many of the issues triggered in the early part of this chapter remained unresolved in the end.
