Irene Steel one year ago had the shock of her life. Her affectionate husband and dad to their grownup sons were killed in a terrible helicopter crash. He was a very successful businessman as well. But, that was not the only shattering news for Irene Steele. Her husband has been living a secretive double life on St. John’s Island. It was the place where one more woman loved him a lot.
Irene is now back on the island along with her son. She was quite determined to learn the full truth about the mysterious life of her husband and also about his death. Along their way, they came to know about some really surprising truths about their very own current and past life along with their future as well. This makes the entire nexus too complex for them and the real truth which was still not clear.
The author was great once again to demonstrate her top-class immersive escapism. You will feel great pleasure in the way Erin Bennett delivered this book. It was just so amazing. Full marks to the writer and narrator of this audiobook.
