Witching for Grace (Premonition Pointe #1)

I am so loving this new genre of paranormal women\’s fiction! It is so refreshing to read about women older than the traditional 20 something heroine who have a bit more going on as far as being confident in who they are. Grace is an easy character to love. She knows her own value and, even coming fresh off a divorce, she is not broken. She\’s moving on with her life in a very purposeful way that is so awesome to read. However, even with all this confidence and sense of self, she still has some hang-ups and insecurities that stem from societal expectations of older women and divorced women and I love that she has them! It\’s a character\’s insecurities and flaws that make them feel real and relatable! The feel of this story was a lot like the Keating Hollow books with the magical town, strong sense of family ties, and the close friendships. I love this type of story, it\’s very heartwarming, even when situations get a little dark for the characters. I can\’t wait to find out more about Grace\’s friends Hope and Joy when their stories come out! Much like Keating Keating Hollow, Premonition Pointe is a place I now want to live!

Grace just divorced gets a job at a competing real estate office and she has been assigned the most difficult homes to sell because of course they are haunted houses. Grace takes the challenge with the help of her best friends and coven members Joy and Hope…they help her dig through the history of the houses and through trial and error, find the clients that match them. There is a handsome younger man and sparks fly, a niece and sister going through a challenging time, and an ex that keeps butting in…lol Witching For Grace by Deanna Chase was a joy to read! I could totally related to Grace and wanted to join her and her friends for their adventures. There were lots of laugh out loud, Oooo and OMG I can\’t believe that moments. This book is a new series and part of Paranormal Womens Fiction #PWF…13 wonderful female authors have gotten together to create paranormal fiction for the 40 plus generation and Im so excited to be reading these! I\’m so looking forward to what happens next in the small magical town of Premonition Pointe!

It was so passionate, heartwarming, and really laugh out loud funny in places. Three best friends, all over 40, all witches, all with romance problems. This book is primarily about Grace. Newly divorced under heartbreaking circumstances. But when one door closes, another one opens. And Grace just opened the door with all the expensive prizes. She is awesome, so many things are happening with Grace that I could not help but root for her, laugh with her, feel righteous anger with her, and rejoice in her new found passion. Now I want her friends to experience life changing circumstances, particularly Joy. I feel for that woman.

I love getting closure in a story even though it continues in the next book and this one delivers. It gives me the complex story, paranormal, and romance. Loved it so much and I look forward to the next on the series.

I loved my first book in the new Paranormal Women\’s Fiction genre! I got this and two others in the genre, and I\’m hooked! I\’ve adored each and every book Deanna Chase has released in her quirky, and just plain brilliant witch series! This one is no different. At the center is a wonderfully big hearted, fierce, mid forties female witch that has just been dumped by her cheating loser of a husband. His loss! For this witch is definitely gaining her mojo back!! A great into into this witty, funny series. I can\’t wait for the future books in this series about our main characters BFF\’s. Three cheers for this amazing new genre!
