Your Christmas Love (The Bennett Family #10)

I forgot how much I enjoy Layla Hagen\’s writing so I\’m very thankful for the reminder I received by listening to Your Christmas Love! I listened to it strictly (as opposed to physically reading it as well) and I do wish that I had a ebook copy so that I could have gone back and forth, as I did find parts of the book a bit slow and I think my eyes could\’ve sped up the process just a bit. Other than that, I loved Sienna and Winston grew on me. I enjoyed the office romance aspect of the story as well as the inclusion of the Bennett clan as a whole. But since I have read Your Tempting Love, I think my favorite part of the book (besides the steamy bits) was seeing a grown up Sienna and getting updates on Victoria, Christopher, Lucas, and Chloe. In fact, I hope that the author continues this tract and we get books about the youngest Hensley\’s at some point! 4 out of 5 wine glasses.

Your Christmas Love is the perfect story to put you in a festive mood. Sienna is a branding VP who is now working side by side with her boss, Statham Department Store president Winston, after months of him telecommuting. Winston is a bit broody and arrogant as a boss, and with good reason: He\’s got the future of his family\’s company resting on his shoulders. He only has a few weeks to figure out how to save the store from closing, so is he really in any position to offer Sienna anything more than being colleagues? There is a really nice progression to their relationship, and Sienna grounds and calms Winston in a way that he so desperately needs. The characters are brought to life vividly by Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell — and I am totally in love with Joe\’s sexy, sexy voice! There are a lot of appearances by the couples from the other Bennett Family books — having not read any of those, I was a little lost in trying to keep them all straight. Sienna is the sister of Victoria, who is married to Christopher Bennett. But for fans of this series, I\’m sure this is a great continuation of the family and their legacy, especially once you get to the HEA. I received an advanced copy and voluntarily left a review.

Sienna Hensley loves Christmas season, but her new boss’s grumpiness is bringing everyone down. She gets to know (and love!) Winston Stratham more as they work late nights together and she finds out that the reason for the broodiness and crabbiness is because he carries weight of the world on his shoulders trying to keep the store open. Will they be able to keep the business alive and get their HEA? This is one fun, sweet, and sexy office romance with well-written, relatable characters. I love how Sienna pushes back on Winston when he tries to boss her around. I haven’t read (or listened) to any of the other books in this series, and I like how it didn’t feel like I was missing a part of the story. Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell did a great job narrating. Maxine Mitchell does male voices really well! Your Christmas Love is a contemporary holiday office romance written and recorded in dual first-person POV. It’s a standalone that ends with a HEA. No cliffhanger, no cheating. I received this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review.

Such a sweet holiday story to not only get you in all your feels but also the holiday spirit. Sienna and Winston are both career driven but when Sienna is out to make a name for herself before joining her family business Winston climbs on board to help her. Not at expecting to catch feelings Sienna and Winston team up to help his company not to fall under but in the process fall in love. Loved this holiday love story.

I can always count on Layla Hagen to deliver a sweet and swoony romance and Your Christmas Love was just that. Winston and Sienna’s story was adorably captivating and both characters were incredible relatable which made it easy to cheer them on the entire way. Add to that Sienna’s love for all things Christmas and it was the perfect audiobook to get into the holiday spirit. Narration by Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell was great. They effortlessly brought the story to life and you can never go wrong with Joe in your headphones telling you swoony things. 5 stars.
