This is one of the best series that I have ever heard! My favorite series is The Harry Potter Series, but this is my second favorite!

Spoiler alert: I should have stopped when a 13 year old child was asked to participate in the society\’s equivalent of an execution. Or when removing an animal from the wild-an animal that can teleport and is an intelligent species-is considered the only recourse for the species (see Galapagos tortoises). Or when the main character is told to just suppress and not think about feelings of guilt because they cause the mind to fracture. \”Suppress those feelings.\” \”Don\’t think about it.\” Or when a counselor is allowed to literally torture a child–gleefuly I may add. All in all, not something I want my kids to internalize.

I enjoyed this book more than the first one. There were some dark parts that I didn\’t like as much, but the overall story was well-written and a fun listen.

I love it so much, the plot twists were sometimes so sad! I cried! The narrator does an amazing job, and the accents for the vackers were spot on!

I had already read this book and it’s still amazing the second time. I’ve been going through a hard time in life because of the quarantine and crap and nothing cheers me up more that listening to Keefe talk, he is hilarious and cool just like most of the characters in the book. I recommend this book to literally al of the 8.5 billion people on the planet!:)
