Zom-B Angels audiobook free

Book #4 takes B out of isolated London and introduces her to Dr. Oystein and others like her. Dr. O’s story and history have him in the forefront of finding ways to help the revitalized with a longer life (B hoped to live for a few months and now Dr. O guarantees much more) and he has named them “angels” and they fight and train daily to combat the evil forces of Mr. Dowling and his zombies. B is still as prickly as ever BUT she still has her reservations about Dr. O and Master Zhang even though all the other kids LOVE their life together. I am looking forward to the next book and what happens with B- will she stay or continue on her own journey???

Zom-B Angels audiobook in series Zom-B

Another fast-paced segment in the Zom-B series. Darren Shan doesn’t let down his readers in this one. Well written, the story moves the main character B along on her unusual journey as a zombie. Can’t wait for the next one. Oh yeah, I’m old and I loved it. Didn’t put it down from the first page to the last. Daughter is a teen and she loved it. Of course we own a copy of all Shan’s works. He consistently hits home runs with his ability to write for the teen market.

Audiobook Zom-B Angels by Darren Shan

My son has read every series by Darren Shan and has loved them all. He loves this series just as much as Cirque de Freak, his only complaint is they are too short. He longs for more. Good for kids 11 years or older, some content is for a more mature reader. I have to say that Darren Shan is the coolest author around. Wonderfully creepy and intense. Shan always finds a way to take his storylines to the next level of awesomeness.
I am on pins and needles waiting for the next one.

Audio Zom-B Angels narrated by Emma Galvin

My teenage son digs Darren Shan. He reads everything by him. This series is clever. These books are very short. Quick reads.

This is one of my favourite books in the series, and as you can guess from the title, introduces a man called Oystein and his team of zom heads, otherwise known as Angels.

It introduces most of the major characters in the series, including Master Zhang, B’s room mates and Doctor Oystein, who has brought his team of revitalized zombies together in the hope that they will be able to destroy the clown and hand the reins of power back to the living. Personally, I don’t trust this man. I mean, his intentions sound good, but he never reveals much about his past and when B questions him on his surname, he brushes her off and changes the conversation. What is he hiding and why?

Never the less, he takes B under his wing and offers her protection in County Hall when she needs it the most. He is willing to help her change her ways and to become an ‘Angel’, and B can’t help but accept his generous offer.

This book is slower than the others, but it gives us key information about the zombies and starts to delve briefly into Mr Dowling’s intentions, though we only hear these from the mouth of Doctor Oystein.

I enjoyed learning more about the apocalypse, and I really liked Oystein as a character. He seems really nice, though I’m still a bit unsure about his intentions….B is beginning to develop into someone other than the rude, racist girl we first met in Zom-B. She is starting to see that she needs others just as much as they need her, no matter where they come from. A must read for any Darren Shan fan.

New characters emerge from the shadows of the Zom-B vaults – just who is this ‘Ivor Bolton’, the mysterious but cleverly-named keeper of the keys to the Zom-B vaults?! I’m sure that we shall be hearing lots more of him in future Zom-B writing!
Look out for Daren Shan’s appearances on his reader tours! His performances are as great as his stories because he really CARES about his readers, and works hard to meet and please them.
