I felt like I was done with the series until I read the summary of this book. Pegan loses her memory and now two men fight for her! Sounded too good to pass up. But the author really botched the opportunity in my opinion. Instead of giving pegan this new really amazing guy to fight for her she gets… (minor spoiler alert) her same high school boyfriend who cant keep his thing in his pants. How is this a competition at all? I felt like the whole book was used to extend the series in the same cringe worthy over the top romanticism as the rest of the books.

Audiobook Ceaseless (Existence #3) by Abbi Glines
This series is great! I enjoyed it immensely, but listening to this narrator attempt to change her voice for the different characters is painful. Except for the voices of Dank and Pagan the rest are high pitched, screechy, almost unbearable to listen to. The voice of best friend, Miranda, is especially grating on the nerves. It\’s a cross between Betty Boop and a low budget cartoon voice of a fairy. Attempting to listen seriously makes me want to sit the narrator in a classroom and run my fingernails down the chalkboard for hours upon hours. What was she thinking?

Liked the series overall. I could have done without the song lyrics, the repetition of them was annoying to me, although I understand that the lead male character was a singer and maybe the author was trying to show his artistic/romantic broody side through them. Narrator did a wonderful job differentiating character voices, although the friend\’s voice was grating and shrill.

If you can get past the high pitched vocals of Miranda and the cringing singing, the story line is pretty good. I just fast forwarded through the song lyrics.
