Dark Melody is Dayan’s book he is the last member in the Dark Troubadours to find his the other half of his soul. At the end of Dark Fire he left with Cullen to help keep the demons at bay but will end up finding his lifemate. Corinne is the light to Dayan’s dark but she has a few complications that will keep Dayan from binding them together. He will have to find the strength to live for both of them.
Feehan gives us an emotional story that will bring you tears and laughter. I loved that Gregory, Darius, Julian, Desari, Savannah, Tempest and Shea make a big appearance in this story. Happy Reading!!

Dark Melody audiobook in series Dark
I love this author. The questions Amazon asks about whether violence and sex are explicit are difficult to answer–I mean, wouldn’t those answers be based on personal experience or morals or something like that? Anyhow, these are not books for the squeamish because these are a type of human (you gotta read them) who kill those their kind who have chosen to turn vampire, and killing vampires (who are evil and drooly and disgusting) is not a tidy job. The sex is about “standard” for sexy romance books; they go at it, we get descriptive details of movements and body parts but no one is tied to the ceiling or suffocating themselves for a twist.
One thing I can suggest is that if you choose to start this series(Carpathian novels, all named Dark _something___) in audio, don’t quit because of the narrator Abby Craden (who recorded the first 2 books) because while she can be good, she is uuuultra-dramatic and over the top.
(note: this particular sale was for the wrong product–they refuunded and apologized, no problems. Something about how they stop at this company)

Dark Melody audiobook by Christine Feehan
Dayan the last member of the band, the Dark Troubadours, finally finds his lifemate. But, she is pregnant & has heart issues; he was singing in a bar without the band when she walked into the bar with her friend & sister-in-law.
But, now it’s up to you to read the book to find out if she’s still married & if her & her baby make it.

Dark Melody audio narrated by Abby Craden
I have read this book 100x’s. I have a paperback and just bought the kindle copy. This says a LOT as I very rarely spend more than a few dollars on a book and this one I paid almost $7 for the kindle copy. I also think it is worth very penny.
This book starts out a bit different from others. There is very little actual sex in this book (until the end). The majority of it is focused on the relationship and how it progresses and how they learn accept it. Dayan is trying to trust Corinne with what he is and overcome her acceptance of her own death. Don’t let the lack of sex make you overlook this book! You will learn the true depth of the Carpathian’s love for his lifemate. Corinne is a strong and fun heroine and Dayan is a sexy, sweet, tormented soul. The two go on an adventure of hope, trust and love. With courage and love they can overcome anything.
I usually love hot and steamy sex in Feehan’s books but this story stands up well without it. It has great depth, charter growth and it is wonderful to touch base with the other charters we know and love from the other books. I couldn’t find anything I didn’t like about this book.

“I never told you because I feared you would not like men in capes. Mine is very traditional, but nice all the same.” ~Dayan
Dayan is without doubt the most selfless of heroes. A wandering warrior poet in every sense of the word who finds his lifemate, Corrine, who has a failing heart and carrying another man’s child. Not to give away any spoilers, but this is definitely one of the BEST in the series due to the fact that it is minus much of the redundancy of Feehan’s domineering male-stubborn female plot lines and the sexual intimacy is put on the back burner. If, for no other reason to read this book: The Daratranzanoff family reunion. As seemingly with most of the Kindle editions of the Dark series, there are many typos. Seems like someone would remedy that as it does get annoying over so many pages of so many books.
