Black Horizon

I have been binge reading the Jack Swyteck series for a couple of months and have now caught up! Loved them all! This one was a bit slow moving for the first 1/3 of the book but then became so exciting that I read it in one sitting! Theo was a scene stealer with most of his comments in this book! Andie appeared to be tougher than Jack, who seemed more tired than in other books. But together with the villains and other characters, this book became a winner.

Like other Jack Swyteck novels O enjoyed the intricacies and interface among characters, especially Andie, Theo and Jack. Interface among law enforcement, legal profession and humor keep me interested as well as smiling. James makes it work.

Black horizon was another hit in the jack swytek series. Ive enjoyed all the books in the series. This book brought jack and Theo investigated a death on an oil rig that exploded and caused a terrible oil oil in the gulf.this is a great read.

This book is only the second one of Grippando’s books that I have read Now I want to start reading Pardon and all of his other books A most interesting writer to discover

After all of the bad reviews, my expectations were low but it was actually fairly good. I don’t believe it was one of his best but i’m still looking forward to his next Jack Swytek book. Mr Grippando is entitled to one novel that is less than his best after almost 20 novels that entertained me.
