The saga of the Hell Divers starts with some hopeless remarks for humanity and then Nicholas Sansbury Smith adds the energetic group of men as a silver lining. After the end of World War III, the earth got destroyed completely and the humans who survived were left with no place where they can live and establish a colony.
The survivors started living on the ships which saved them from the war in the first place. But the ships soon started developing problems and the faults were often not repairable.

One after the other the ships started going back to the earth to face the fate which they should have confronted long ago. Only a few of the ships now remain in space which has the last of humanity in their belly. These ships have survived the toil till now because of a group known as the Hell Divers. Members of this group dive into the atmosphere of other planets for resources that their ship lacks and then come back to the people as a beacon of hope.
During these missions, the divers also face mutants that have been created as a result of war but this time the devil which awaits them at Hades is just too big for them. Going through Extinction Shadow and Hell Divers VII: Warriors is a must if you like this book because of its action-packed stuff. Nicholas describes the action in the best possible way and R.C. Bray’s narration is always there to take things to a further upgraded level. Bray’s services in narrating this series over the years are unmatchable. The narrator has made a name for himself through this epic heroic series.
