In Her Court (Camp Firefly Falls #18)

I wasn\’t sure what to expect with this audio book and I\’ve never read this author previously. When I saw the book was part of a \”Camp Fire series\” I started to worry that this was going to be PG13, but, for anyone interested, there\’s definitely sex. The story line was pretty good but somehow I didn\’t fall in love with either character. I felt there was potential for more. There\’s a brother, a sister, and the brother\’s best friend whom the sister has been crushing for years. The brother breaks his leg and can\’t spend all summer at a camp with his best friend but don\’t worry the sister takes his place. The sister and the best friend room together and it doesn\’t take long before they are sleeping together… I still wanted there to be a little more to the story. The narration was really good in the dialog was pretty good I just wanted the characters to be more developed

This story is adorable and fun and I like that one half of the couple’s apparent bisexuality is nbd. The love scenes are very hot. Some of the nerd references get to be a little much (like as in there are a lot of them, not that they’re inherently bad) and the narration is perfectly fine. I think it’s worth the listen!

I like the writing style of the author, the storyline and how she describes the characters. I truly enjoyed this book and hope that there are plenty more from this author.

This book made my nerdy heart swell! I was pleasantly surprised by how steamy it was. I may very well be looking into the rest of the camp firefly falls series!
