Kindness and Wonder

Mr. Rogers Neighborhood began when I was in college studying to become a teacher so I watched it occasionally as research. I always liked his gentle spirit and patience. Yes, it felt like he was talking to each individual child. This book really tied his life together and reinforced that “what you see is truly what he was”. Interesting biographical account. Well written.

Mr. Rogers life and message was; It is always possible to be kind.
This biography emphasizes Mr. Rogers kindness. The world especially America, needs that emphasis on kindness now and probably always. Reading this makes one want to be just a little bit more like Mr.Rogers in life.

There is nothing to not absolutely love and aspire to about Mr. Rogers! This is a great read, HIGHLY recommend, especially in this day and age. Although any story about him is bound to be inspirational!

I highly recommend getting a copy of this book. The portrait of this amazing man is the best that I have read in a while. There is wisdom throughout the entire book; many gems to keep in your pocket.

It was fascinating to hear more about Fred Rogers life, but what was even better was the second portion of the book that distills the essence of Fred Rogers wisdom and outlines ways for us to follow his example. I would recommend this especially for parents or people working with children.

However ANYONE could learn much about enhancing the depth and quality of establishing and maintaining heartfelt, meaningful connection with the important people in our lives.
