I was attracted to this book because… I always enjoy and I am encouraged by Margaret’s writing. I’m definitely drawn to the concept of being from fear in my life. This book was about… Margaret provides 52 devotions, each with a powerful declaration to claim. These declarations are deeply rooted in Scripture. She also states the lie these declarations speak against. Things I liked about this book… Margaret has a storehouse of research and insights which she brings together in meaningful ways. Each devotion and declaration will encourage you, but there will be two or three which will speak directly to the negative thoughts you are facing in your spiritual life. Why you should read this book… If there ever was a year where we need to have our spirits restored from lies surrounding our soul, this is the year. It will give you new ways of declaring victory in your spiritual life. This book lived up to the back cover copy…This devotional will help you overcome the negative thoughts that haunt you from a strong Scriptural backdrop.
