I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. Mckayla and Brad were the hair and makeup duo of the Hollywood scene, but that got old fast. After working for the reality show Matchmaker, their perception of the industry became skewed. Now they are in Great Falls opening their own salon, Triple B, directly across the street from Evan and his brother TJ\’s garage. Evan has been having a rough time since his last tour in the army. He partnered with his brother in business to help pass the time and, hopefully, get his head straight. Then he meets Mckayla. All hell breaks loose and Evan, being such a charmer….not, ends up at odds with his new neighbor. Not only do they start off on the wrong foot, but they are both instantly and wildly attracted to each other. Mckayla has an unwanted admirer and while she\’s fighting off unwanted advances, she\’s also pining for the sexy, hot biker who runs the garage across the street. Mckayla knows Evan is trouble, she just doesn\’t realize how much trouble he really is. Evan came home from his last tour broken. He\’s damaged. He wants Mckayla but he knows in the end, he will only hurt her. He\’s a lot to take on. Mckayla is persistent, she\’s not about to give up on him. But her persistency will only work if Evan doesn\’t give up on himself first. LAUREN WRITES ONE SEXY, HOT BIKER ! ! ! I REALLY LOVED THIS BOOK ! THE STORY WAS WELL WRITTEN AND THE CHARACTERS RELATABLE ! UNDENIABLE CHEMISTRY WITH SEX SCENES THAT WERE MIND BLOWING AND INTOXICATING ! PURE UNADULTERATED PASSION WITH INTENSE CRAVING ! A DEFINITE MUST READ ! ! !

Come on! Do you want to know what I just read? Oh man! A suck me in story about a gruff and grumble sexy beast Veteran, ( Evan ) who\’s life consists of working as a mechanic in his brothers auto repair shop, avoiding everyone in town and dealing ( sort of ) with the demons that plague him from Overseas. That is until Mckayla takes the no prisoners- hairdresser extraordinaire, and Brad with the magic makeup touch and extra B\’s he takes very seriously come into town. ( LOVE these two! ) Bringing some fierce strength and a smile to the people they meet when they open The Triple B\’s Salon across the street from the Auto Repair shop. I, just- seriously, THIS BOOK. GAH I could have read about these crazy, yet relatable characters all day! I loved Evan; I am such a sucker for the gruff men with the broken souls- * long drawn out sigh for effect * can you be jealous of a fictional character?!! Mckayla, she is what my spirit animal would be IF I had the nerve to do everything that she does. I need more books with female leads like her! Her give no f@@ks, take charge go after what she wants attitude, live life to the fullest has to be my favorite out of them all! Phew, Lauren Landish waved her magic wand over this one! It was the perfect mix of humor, eat your heart out love, heart squeezing angst, sass to put you in your place, (YAS!) and some animal hotness that cannot be forgotten. I do not know how it is possible, but I\’ve become even more invested in the fictitious lives and worlds Ms. Landish has created; these ever-evolving storylines just keep getting better! MotorHead is my new favorite. This free-flowing, well-developed vacation, is one you will love from beginning to end! #MustRead

Most of the books in this series just didn\’t appeal to me so I decided to read this one and the next as stand alones. Although some of the characters that are obviously from previous books make an appearance, it doesn\’t get confusing and doesn\’t reference many things from those books so it\’s easy to follow along. This particular book was only an ok read for me, I didn\’t get very attached to any of the characters. It was like the author just skimmed the surface of these characters and so, didn\’t give us much to latch on to. It wasn\’t bad, it just didn\’t pull me in. Also, there wasn\’t a whole lot to this book. Not much happening except one little drama that you saw coming from the beginning. Hopefully the next book, and the only other one in this series to appeal to me, has more depth – to the story and to the characters. 1 star = awful! want my money back! 2 stars = bad but not horrendous 3 stars = decent/good 4 stars = really good! will probably read again. 5 stars = excellent! definitely recommend and will definitely read again!

I received this book from Lauren Landish as an ARC, but I also purchased it to support Lauren\’s continued writing. Although I was under no obligation to do so, it was my pleasure to read and now give a review of this fantastic book! We originally me Mckayla and Brad in The Matchmaker. So happy to have them entertain me again in this delightful romance. McKayla and Brad had enough of Hollywood and decided to move to the small town of Great Falls and open The Triple B Salon. Brad, a Mckayla points out could really make it big as an interior designer if their salon does not work out. The salon is a wonderful success and they soon have to hire two more people to assist them. Just before their store opened Brad decided that two walls needed pictures on them. Mckayla spots a gorgeous Harley parked across the street at the auto repair garage. As she is draped over the Harley she is treated to one angry bear of a man, Evan Hardwick (pun intended). He is a bear to everyone in town since he returned from his second tour. This last one in Afghanistan. He was the only one to survive in his last mission and carries a whole lot of rage and PTSD. The VA tried to help him, but he doesn\’t want to talk to psychiatrists. The town seem to tip toe around him carefully, not knowing what will set him off. Even his brother is wary of him. Not Mckayla, she soon has him taking her for rides on his Harley. Things slowly heat up between them. She has a stalker. So Evan decides to sleep over the shop just as she sleeps across the street over her salon. What a wonderful story of redemption and love. THANK YOU, Lauren

Greasy, grumpy biker meets his match with a sexy, sensual stylist that just loves a bad boy! Enjoy the sparks flying and the chemistry between the two – it even becomes threatened by a stalker. (We\’ll you can\’t have everything straightforward can you?). Highly enjoyable read.
