Only the Dead Can Tell audiobook free
Fifteenth book in this series. Though each may be enjoyed on its own, when read in order the lives of the men and women on this force draw you in. The plot here revolves around human trafficking. Girls are lured in from Eastern Europe with promises of lucrative work in nail salons. They do work nail salons, during the day, but work a second shift at night as prostitutes. How is this crime ring connected to the murder (or suicide) of an heiress to a local car rental company (and her controlling husband)? Kirsty must make an important decision. Rosie’s baby is about to be born, and her job may be in danger of being usurped. Latimer’s wife has a secret. Wonderful, human characters. We cannot help but be drawn into their lives.

Only the Dead Can Tell audiobook in series DCI Lorimer
It was really nice to have Kirsty being a big part in this story, helping Lorimer to get his man. Human trafficking is a horrible thing and shocking that it still goes on today.

Audiobook Only the Dead Can Tell by Alex Gray
I have read every book written by Alex Gray and passed onto family and friends who have enjoyed them all, especially the ladies who have a wee soft spot for lorimer . There have been some critical reviews off this latest lorimer case, but I very much enjoyed reading it,and found the storyline very good, looking forward to her next book The Stalker, excellent author

Audio Only the Dead Can Tell narrated by David Monteath
The usual pleasant change from blood spattered books about serial killers and gritty police procedurals with unbelievable protagonists; Lorimer returns with his penetrating blue gaze and happy home life and surrogate family via pathologist Rosie to investigate people trafficking and solve a murder which becomes entangled with his. The plot involves the boss of Lorimers protege, Kirsty, originally investigating the murder and his involvement with another pathologist and their machinations to discredit Rosie and whilst every other strand is nicely tied up this bit is forgotten – to appear next time? A good pacy read with no longeurs and lots happening a trifle too much perhaps. The medical scenes are iffy to say the least.

I have to say what I liked and disliked about this book. I found Alex Gray by accident,I have now all her books pertaining to William Lorimer and I can only say that I have liked everyone of them. I feel that she puts you directly into Bill Lorimers shoes and you feel and think like him. When you know the places she writes about you are there taking in the vista and looking for clues to solve the case. A great read by a great author cant wait for the next book.
