I love Dorothea Benton Frank, every book I listen to or read is a pleasure and I would recommend this book to anyone, but I didn\’t enjoy it as much as some of the others. Her characters are vivid, but I don\’t think there were enough enjoyable characters to balance the ones you want to throttle. Even the protagonist was a bit full of herself, and the wrap up made me feel a bit uneasy. That being said, however, the book was well written and worth a try for anyone who loves this genre.

This is another great listen from Frank. I couldn\’t wait to listen to the audio each day as I drove my commute. Robin Miles as Narrator was excellent. I highly recommend this audio.

A book you will have trouble putting down. As a displaced low country resident, this is like a lovely trip home. The accent is perfect; the geography perfect. You will feel joy, sorrow and laughter. A book worth a another listen!!
