Silent Neighbor (Chloe Fine #4)

I love strong female detective / FBI characters and this has it! Im usually able to figure out who did what 1/4-1/2 way through most authors books but not Blake Pierce! It ends with a twist and I cant wait for book 5!!!

Even though it’s been a while since I’ve read this book I thought about just skipping writing a review altogether but decided otherwise. This was a another good book in the Chloe Fine series despite not being quite as good as the previous one. The mystery was good however Chloe’s personal drama with her sister and father seemed to be front and center. Not that that’s a bad thing. We are left with a huge cliffhanger where Chloe’s personal life is concerned and it will be interesting to see how it plays out. What is Danielle thinking? And what is Chloe going to think? To me the best part about this book was the whooping cliffhanger. I am hoping that there is some sort of closure in the fifth book. And Blake for the love of all things good can we please have Moulton back? He is such a great addition to this series and I’m dyung to see him and Chloe together.

Blake Pierce is an exceptional author. Ive read this series from the beginning and looking forward to Book 5. If you like psychology thrillers then youll enjoy this series.

While Cloe Fine was well written and had good characters, I will not read anymore of these books. You have to buy the next book to know the ending. Also some gafs that should have been caught, ie Her apartment was broken into while she was at work but somehow she had put the chain on from outside.

I love this series, in fact, I love all of Blake Pierce’s books! This one was especially fun and keeps you on your toes throughout. Lots of suspense and twists and turns and a thrilling ending.

Just one complaint, the editing. So many typos and misspelled words….
