I always love the Red Stone Security series. Hot alpha men, all with a military or police background, the steamy backdrop of Miami, and smart, capable heroines who can hold their own.
This is Blue and Mina’s story. Mina is an artist. She’s very wealthy, but she’s hidden it because she wants to be known on her own terms, not because of her famous and wealthy father. Blue is a former pro football player. He went into the military after 9-11, only recently got out, and started working for Red Stone because he didn’t know what else to do.
In the opening scenes, Mina is the victim of an attempted kidnapping. Blue just happens to be around and comes to her rescue. And this is the last time Mina needs rescuing in the whole book.
This is why I love the Red Stone Security Series. The men might be super protective and do manly, alpha-ish things like shooting the bad guys who come after their women, driving speedboats away from danger and tearing apart a dock in the process, and breaking a jaw or two with one well-placed punch, but these women are not damsels in distress.
In every single Red Stone book, the women do as much to save themselves as the men. They don’t make stupid mistakes. They trust their men to help take care of them, but they don’t leave it totally up to the men. Mina kicks some ass on her own terms. She’s not needy, weak, or anything other than capable.
And of course, there’s some nice hot sex. Actually less sex than usual in this book, but the sex that’s there is very…um…satisfying.
Ms. Reus never seems to run out of these hot alpha men and I hope she keeps writing this series for quite some time.

I am a big fan of Katie Reus’ Red Stone Security Series. I really enjoyed the story of Mina Hollingsworth and Alexander Blue. Mina (whose father is very wealthy) moved to Key West to live a somewhat normal life as an artist. Blue is in Key West on some R&R after just completing a case for Red Stone Security. Mina is the object of an attempted kidnapping, which Blue interrupts and foils. Mina really seems to fall for Blue from the beginning. Blue also feels the attraction but is hesitant to act upon it. Blue thinks that Mina needs protection, as he feels that this kidnapping attempt was made by professionals. Mina, in the meantime is trying to get a hold of her father and his security people with no success. Feelings between Mina and Blue develop quickly. There are some misleading clues and questions about loyalty. This was a hot, sexy story. The suspense was well written. The characters and their interactions were realistic. This story can be read as a stand alone book. I was provided an ARC of this book for an honest review.

Oh, and the story is HOT HOT HOT.

Katie Reus has done it again. She has written a compelling story filled with romance, drama and danger. Red Stone Security is back on the job. Alexander Blue helps a woman being attacked. Now he’s determined to protect Mina from those men who tried to kidnap her. The connection between these two is immediate and very sensual. Blue is a loner but now he’s found the woman who completes him and he won’t let her go. These characters touched me with their emotional connection. Sinful Seduction is an action packed adventure filled with surprising twists and familiar faces. I couldn’t put this book down. I had to know who was behind this crime!

As always, Ms. Reus takes us to a great ride with well rounded characters to fall in love with. The chemistry was ABOVE AND BEYOND I loved that Mina shows initiative.
The story has a good believable plot, fast pace action, steaming hot sex, lovable previously known characters and a HEA.
The minor thing that was hard for me to believe is that after pro – football and then 10 years in the military Blue came out with no tattoos Of course didnt needed any decoration on that gorgeous body.
