The Battle of the Void audiobook free
Two caveats: I am very biased to this saga, I just love it, and secondly I listened to the audiobook versus reading it myself. Luke Daniels is the narrator and he does a fantastic job bringing the characters to life. He’s a great story teller as well. Richard Fox spins a great tale full of scientific creativity, drama, humor, and a cast of thousands into a sweeping science fiction saga that is just a joy to listen to. Okay, it’s not a cast of thousands but the universe he creates is alive with life – and death. Personally I feel I read – listened to – one of the great tales of all time.
But again, I’m biased.

The Battle of the Void audiobook in series The Ember War
I’m reading book six now. I really like the series, maybe a little predictable/formulaic in parts but well written with good character development and a lot of mind-bending scenarios without being too ridiculous. About the only complaint I have is the editing. It is getting better in the more recent books, but I’ve barely started book 6 and already I’ve seen several cases of “plane” instead of “plain” as in “complaneing” and “complane”. Not a big deal to be sure given the quality of the stories but it is something you notice and it does detract from the overall enjoyment of the series at least for me.

Audiobook The Battle of the Void by Richard Fox
This is another great story in this series. I love the characters. They are well written. The imagination of this author is fantastic. What is gonna happen next is always on my mind as I am reading. Another intelligence is found at the vault of the evil being that has been bargained with to help their cause. I can’t wait to see what happens next.

while the 8th takes on the star of drones that is it’s own black hole for the Xaros, Hale and his crew accompany Stacey and Malel to his hidden laboratory to gather the information he needs to help Earth stop the attackers. or so he says. and there are side games being played among the Xaros; now who would have expected that?

Excellent addition to the 9 book series and highly recommend the series about the Marines and the Breitenfeld. To avoid giving anything away but disappointed to lose a major character like Admiral Makarov of the 8th fleet as I enjoyed that storyline.
