I read this book in December 2013, I didn’t do a review. I just read the book, and it is as good as I remembered 6 years ago. If you are a fan of Ms. Anne’s books, you know that she is a great storyteller, weaving each page with heart-gripping, laughs, some crying, and white-hot passion. THE BILLIONAIRE FALLS is all of that and more because Mark is probably the most loving and passionate heart of them all.

I am not sure but this is one of my favorites so far. I loved this book.
Mark has fought and fought to keep his bachelor status, but over the years of watching his brothers fall in love and have kids he knew deep down he was missing something. He tried to date but they only wanted him for either his status or money. He was about ready to give up, until he came home and saw a sexy woman (his new cook) in the back yard with her little boy.
Emily was on the run from her ex in-laws who were trying to take her son away. She needed a job real bad. They didn’t have much money left. She answered an ad for a cook/housekeeper with room and board. She knew that would be perfect. After she replied it took so long she figured she didn’t get the job.
Joseph had called her to have an interview. He knew she would be perfect for Mark. She thought the questions were weird for an interview but he went with it because she needed this job. After Joseph told her she had the job she was thrilled. Joseph took her to the ranch and she fell in love. Her son fell just as hard as his mom.
Emily knew she would be comfortable there and they settled in. They were playing in the pool when Mark came home and he didn’t know what is father was up to hiring that beautiful of a woman but he was not going to complain.
They hit it off and got along well. One day at a family barbeques they were all playing in the pool and Mark could not resist any longer his attraction for her. He pulled her to him and kissed her. She was shocked and pleased.
She told him that she needed this job and they couldn’t do that again. They fought it for a while but in the end they gave into their attraction. He didn’t want to let her go.
A lot of things happened on the ranch, she had a stalker and after a while she began to get scared. She finally told Mark after she got a note that scared her. She thought she was going to have to leave. Mark was not going to have any of that. He called in a friend to help out.
Her ex in-laws found her and she knew she was going to have to run again, but Mark told her they were going to fight it. He wanted to marry her and they would fight together. Emily didn’t know but she agreed anyway because she didn’t want to leave Mark or the ranch. Her son was thriving there.
Mark proved to her that she could trust him. She got rid of the ex’s and found out her son was a wealthy boy. They had a great honeymoon and she didn’t want to leave but she missed her son so it helped her to be able to go home. Mark promised to bring her back.
Things were going great they thought they had captured the stalker and got rid of her ex in-laws but things are never that simple. She found out he was pregnant and Mark was ecstatic. Trevor (her son) was happy and asked Mark if he couldcall him dad.Mark was so happy and he put in papers to officiallyadopt him.
One day Mark had to leave to go out of town and neitherone of them wanted him to go but knew he had to. Everyone else was gone as well, she decided to go and play with the kittens in the barn. When she was about to get up she was hit on the head and knocked out. Mark didn’t have to go out of town after all and was freaking out when he got home and noticed she was gone and found her scarf and blood in the barn. He called in a search party.
Now, that is where I am going to stop and let you read what happens next.This book is well worth the read and you will fall in love with the sexy Mark.

Two down. One to go. The matchmaking is still on for Joseph. After all he wants to see his sons happy and surrounded by lots of grandbabies.

Mark is the only unmarried son of the Anderson family and has no intention of getting married, but not if Joseph can have his way.

Mark and Emily’s journey is slightly different from Lucas and Max. They play the avoidence games, but when they fall, they fall hard. Emilys devotion to her son is quite admirable. Again, the family love and support are prominent in this book. Emily comes across some difficulties, but Mark and her family are there for her. Her past catches up with her while the present seems to be falling into place. Their happiness is threatened and Emily doesn’t think that there is a a way out.

There are some mysteries which are baffling. The twist at the end is surprising. It’s an easy to read romance.

Let’s follow the journey with Mark and his supportive family as the youngest Anderson finds his bride and his happily ever after.
