When I started reading this I had deja vu that I had read this similar book before. Hmmm a devilish hero in a tournament for a metal working fragile princess. Nucking futs Nyx, oops mean oracle and witch being the masterminds of the story.. sounds like a immortals after dark book …. regardless of the similarities I did love the book. Throw in dragons and a twisted fairy tale it was great!!!

Can I first just say wow, what a cover!! It’s seriously such an awesome cover to much an awesome book. This book had everything I love in a fantasy romance. Great world building, a kick ass heroine and hero, enemies to lovers. And dragons! Who doesn’t love a book with dragons in it? It also features reincarnation, which is such an intriguing concept and I don’t get to read about very often. Did I mention phantoms yet? I loved it, and you will love it too! Buy it, you seriously won’t regret it!

Gena Showalter is a master story teller!! This is a remake of the fairytale Cinderella. It is fascinating how she weaves the characters so you aren’t sure who is who in the story all the while forming a bond so you root for them to find their happy ever after. This is Showalters second book of fairytales and hooks you right in! If you love adventure, romance, twists and turns..you’ll love this book.

Second in Gena\’s Forest of Good Evil series, this book was a wonderful followup to The Evil Queen(retelling of Snow White). This one is a retelling of the little cinder girl(or Cinderella as most know it). Once again, the plot twist and turns to keep you guessing who\’s good and who\’s Evil. Friends or foes? This question must be asked by the central couple many times. I absolutely cannot wait for the next in this series!

Gena did it again! In this series, she turns classic fairy tales into dark and twisted prophecies. The plot is amazing and you never see what’s coming next. She ties everything together flawlessly. I laughed, I cried, I… let’s just say it gets pretty steamy for a YA novel. I loved every minute of it and I can’t wait for the next installment.
