I think the characters were likable, although I found the story to be too predictable. I\’m southern, but the southern dialect was too much for me.

Good book! Kept my interest the whole time, and the narration was very good, also! I find myself talking back to the characters. Well done!

Predictable and simplistic. The characters are not particularly complex or believable. I wouldn\’t read another. But, I did finish it.

Oh, I am a fan of all things Dorthea Benton Frank writes. I love her stories set in and around Charleston – which makes it even more fun because her characters are involved in actual spots I visit, eat in, etc. I liked that this story was told by the perspective of four different people in the same family. Liked the mystery involved to. A good read. I also LOVE Robin Miles as a narrator. She does the characters well.
