The virus was threatening the humans first and now it has finally started penetrating the defense line of the human world. So far there is no cure or defense against this deadly-looking thing. The scientists from both sides have tried a lot but they have not been able to contain or kill the virus. To stop its proper investigation and research is needed but the time is too short for all of this.
HMS Invincible has returned safely to the earth once again and it has been successful in the mission that was given to it in Para Bellum. The crew was not expecting to get another mission but there is no time to rest in such circumstances when destruction is waiting for you around the next corner.

Christopher G. Nuttall brings the war closer to the end and the human race is not in the winning situation at all. After all these decades of struggle, the human race is right where it was standing in Ark Royal . The line of defense has been breached and Invincible is on one last mission after which there would be no one to order them anything. This doom period is awesomely narrated by Ralph Lister and then there is a sudden ray of hope for everyone.

Tables get turned very quickly and God blesses the humans a chance of survival when they weren’t hoping for it. The ending is just great and it was just like as it was hoped by the old fans of the series. The humans didn’t have the upper hand in the series still they just do fine in the end and change the course of the war in their favor.
