Western wuxia is always missing something, a certain magic that dies when you add morals and certain concepts so ingrained in western culture that they go unnoticed
Unlike other western wuxia this aptly named series incorporates just the right parts of the west such that the dao of magic often lost is preserved

Feels like this book was kinda like the end to an arc in the series. Finally get to see so many questions be answered… only to have many more waiting for you lol. As always, I love the personalities of the characters and the things they get up to. I cant wait to see what happens in the next book!

Only complaint i have is that at the end it says the next book is out soon but I’ve already waited 30 seconds and its still not out

This is the one where things get… weird. I know, the last few have been odd, but things just get stranger in this one, but in a good way! It’s more of what you should have already come to know and love. And Teach. Nobody in their right mind loves him. Rhea’s not in her right mind!

I thoroughly lived this piece in the series as it has a lot of movement and culminates on a lot of ideas and character growth that was setup in previous texts. Taking Teach’s type of Dantian I’m mind and how we’re now getting more and more viewpoints from other characters in especially excited to see whom the author will focus on in the next novel and how many of them made it that far.
